Following a joint venture in setting up a local SEN parents' group in 2002, Claire joined IPSEA, a renowned national charity, as a volunteer telephone advisor and later a Tribunal Support Service Representative. Claire says: “One of the most valuable lessons I learned was the fundamental importance of using the law to secure, and if necessary, enforce rights to ensure that children and young people receive the special educational provision they are entitled to. I have been privileged to advise and support many families over the years and I am incredibly passionate about children and young people with SEND receiving the education they are entitled to”. This led Claire to successfully complete her LLB Law (1st class) and Higher Diploma in Paralegal Practice in 2011.

I am an open-minded, positive & dedicated mother of four unique & inspiring individuals. One child is on the Autistic Spectrum (previously nonverbal, with a global developmental delay, dyspraxia, disturbed sleeping patterns) & another has ADHD. Along with my colleague Irina, I co-founded a non-profit association in Switzerland during my time there: STARS - Swiss Team for Autism Resources & Solutions. I am passionate about helping families & individuals like yours affected by Autism & similar neurological & developmental challenges in the UK & across Europe. I have over 15 years of personal & professional experience & expertise in the field of Autism, ADHD & special educational needs. I hold 15 complimentary diplomas & certifications relevant to the field of Autism & Special Education & my mission is to inspire, support & empower parents, individuals with autism & autism professionals.

Our workshops have served as intense social learning sessions and therapeutic retreats to adults, and our children’s workshops have helped children express themselves and make large strides in their artistic endeavours. As reflected in our principles, all our sessions are inclusive of people with special education needs (SEN) and learning difficulties. We have helped children with SEN develop their confidence and become more involved in art. Our approach to teaching and learning is focused on using art to build a creative local community founded on principles of inclusivity. We provide a platform to showcase the work of our creatives via our Group Exhibitions - we also host and take part in national events such as The Big Draw and Lumiere London - the UK’s biggest light festival - and in local events like the Fabula Festival. We run pop-ups, co-operate with businesses alongside our workshops, and collaborate with non-profit organisations in addition to organising after school clubs with local schools. I gained my PGCE at University of Bristol and practice my teaching in Bristol, where I gained experience working with pupils of all mathematics attainments. I teach a broad range of Maths from Key Stage 3, GCSE to A-Level. I also enjoy working with pupils with Special Education Needs as well as adults who wants to improve their numerical skills. I have tutored numerous students over the past 2 years, working with many different ages and levels. I believe in 'Practice Makes Perfect' and take an understanding approach with an overall structure that ensures the success of the student.
