Welcome to Blue Wave Martial Arts. We are proud of our dedicated facility in Risby, Bury St Edmunds. Our team of expert, insured and highly experienced coaches are ready to help you on your Martial Arts journey. Whether you are complete beginner, an experienced Martial Artist or visiting us from another gym you will find our coaches, staff and members friendly, helpful and welcoming to our Blue Wave community. We regularly host Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing InterClub tournaments and have visiting experts deliver seminars to our team. These workshops support the latest Ofsted research review on Religious Education. A detailed summary of this review will be made available to schools who make a booking with us! Faith Encounters workshop give your students an opportunity to: · Meet people who live out their faith in the local community · Ask questions in a relaxed and open small grouped environment. How it works… Pupils engage with up to three different faith representatives using a carousel system. Each representative uses personal artefacts to bring their faith to life. This workshop can be delivered to single classes or entire year groups. We can also re-create a homely, safe and secure encounter with a person of faith, using our new living room backdrops, together with our collection of homely faith artefacts contained in our faith suitcases. There is also the option of our new home rugs for pupil

Our work Our work includes providing support for VCSE organisations to establish and develop, including delivering training for their staff, volunteers and trustees. In addition Volunteer Centre Salford provides support for individuals who want to volunteer and assistance for organisations developing volunteer programmes, including good practice support.
Peer support is different to clinical and professional services, because the support comes from a peer volunteer who has MS. A peer volunteer can bring a fresh perspective to your challenges, by offering support based on their own experiences. Peer support is a free and confidential service. It's open to anyone in Scotland with MS. Currently we offer up to six sessions with a peer volunteer. Sessions are online or over the phone.
