While there is nothing wrong with these activities in moderation, entire days and weeks spent away from natural environments is known to be detrimental. Children’s brains are hard-wired to connect with the natural world and unless they are exposed to such environments on a regular basis, they risk being denied essential opportunities for optimal neurological development. At Cambium Sustainable we are passionate about getting children and educators outdoors and engaging in high-quality programmes.
