Seedlings Day Nursery and Pre-School is a new nursery situated on the edge of
Scarborough town centre. We care for children from birth to aged 7 years of age.
We are registered for 48 children with 8 of them being babies. Our moto is “a
place to grow” which is linked to the previous use of the building which was the
council nursery building where they grew the plants for the flower beds of
Scarborough. The name Seedlings continues the history of the building. The owner
Frances James has managed and owned nurseries since 1998 and so has a wealth of
knowledge and experience. She also has another nursery In Scarborough called
Kiddiwinks. Children feel safe and secure in a happy environment with staff who
want to see them progress both emotionally and intellectually. At Seedlings we
have staff that are teacher qualified and that have a breadth of experience in
nurseries and with their own children.
