More than just Performing Arts classes for kids Performing Stars Academy offers
vocal, dance and acting tuition to children from ages 2 to 19. The school was
founded in 2011 by Suzanne Forrester who, after teaching drama, singing and
music in secondary schools, wanted to focus on her own vision for learning in
the arts. Since then, Suzanne and her team have developed a fun environment in
which we nurture talent and creativity. With a focus on establishing confidence,
we ensure all students of the academy have the opportunity to fulfil their
potential, both on stage and in life. All students of the stage school have the
opportunity to perform in a full scale musical production, learning all the
skills required to shine on stage. We provide classes in all of the major dance
styles including Ballet, Tap, Modern/Jazz, Street, Contemporary, Musical Theatre
& Acro. We also have a competition class for those wanting to compete in their
dance styles.
