Food Hygiene Matters is an accredited training provider with Highfield Qualifications and the Royal Society for Public Health. We offer a programme of open food hygiene and safety courses throughout the year. Courses are also presented on request from client’s premises throughout the UK. Well established within our operation is the provision of consultancy/auditing services with particular focus on food hygiene, health and safety and HACCP.

Our highly active and dedicated PTA offer a range of events throughout the year, for students and parents. Their hard work and effort continues to support our students by providing facilities such as a school minibus or covered seating areas. They are always looking for new members to support their on-going projects. We are entering a new and exciting time, which will see the school moving from strength to strength, building upon our current position as one of the highest attaining non-selective schools in Kent; with 61% of our students leaving with 5 A*-C including English and Maths. Together, as a school, we will be building an outstanding provision for the future, where students will take a highly active role within the wider school development and their own learning journey. It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our website and our school. William Edwards is a large, successful, harmonious and thriving mixed 11-16 comprehensive school. Pupil outcomes across the school are historically strong. However, attending William Edwards is about so much more than just GCSE outcomes. We firmly believe that your school days should be the best days of your life and that schools have a moral purpose to extend the life experiences of their pupils. That is why we boast the largest Duke of Edinburgh cohort of any school in the East of England and are one of only a very small number of secondary schools nationally to hold both the Artsmark Platinum Award and the Youth Sports Trust Gold Award for our work in these diverse fields. We were delighted that our last inspection report noted that “pupils who spoke to inspectors were effusive about their experience in school” and that “the breadth of curriculum opportunities available at the school is a real ‘gem’ in the school’s offer to its pupils”. The school is a proud founding member of the South West Essex Community Education Trust which runs three secondary schools and three primary schools across Thurrock and the London Borough of Havering. We were delighted that our last Ofsted inspection captured our considerable strengths in teaching, pastoral care, behaviour, pupil support and curriculum. Based at the E-Innovation Centre at the University of Wolverhampton, the Imagine team is a tight knit group of dedicated IT trainers and social media experts led by Training Director, Karen Turner. Imagine trains delegates on a variety of software, including Microsoft 365 – such as Excel Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, Visio, SharePoint and Office. Here at Imagine we really care about the relationship between course tutor and delegate. We are not a numbers churning training company, we take people on a learning journey to help them advance in their roles, improve efficiency and performance and save time in their already stretched day. We work alongside our clients to create tailored learning development plans that enable them to visualise the journey from their current performance levels to where they want to be. Our approach ensures that learning is retained and applied in the workplace, resulting in improved productivity and performance. We have a team of expert trainers who are passionate about Microsoft 365 training and deliver great training experiences. They are all experienced professionals with a wealth of knowledge to share.
