Stewart Maclennan began his studies on the electric guitar at age 14 under the
late Ethan Atkinson of Houston,Texas. At the end of four years of study he had
gravitated toward the classical guitar and fell in love with solo guitar music.
During a hiatus of two years at University of St. Edward's in Austin, Texas, he
decided to commit to studying music full time in Edinburgh, Scotland.
