We started our Sewing School in 2007, providing a range of dressmaking, soft furnishing and creative courses. Our day courses are mostly subject-based and take place at the weekend but some are also offered on a Friday. Our evening classes are own choice and you can choose to attend on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. Most of our courses are suitable for any ability, whether you are a complete beginner, returning to sewing or already an experienced sewer. Over the first couple of years of teaching, we found that our customers were finding it difficult to source haberdashery. After some research and sourcing haberdashery wholesalers, we started an online shop. In 2012, while looking for a permanent base for our Sewing School, we came across the opportunity to open our retail shop in the pretty village of Hatfield Heath, near Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. Our shop offers a wide range of quality products including haberdashery, dressmaking fabrics and knitting yarns. We are a Janome/Elna sewing machine stockist and we also service and repair sewing machines.

Over the past decade I have taught in a variety of different settings; inner city state, depths of the countryside, abroad and in London’s top private schools heading up the 11+ process. I have a wealth of knowledge about how children learn and have the skills to engage even the most reluctant of learners. I believe educating the future generation is a privilege. We as teachers hold the torch to inspire young minds on a daily basis. My style of teaching is based on research, experience and instinct. I am continuously reinventing the curriculum to engage every type of learner however, my deeper passion lies not just to curate minds to pass exams, but to be curious, passionate learners for life. I am dedicated to helping others find the confidence to want to chase their interests; to be able to express and communicate themselves in the demanding work place and provide your child with the emerging variety of life skills they now need. With confidence, everyone develops interest - they persevere. With a little self-belief it is amazing what we can achieve. So lets do it.

Hayley's School of Dance opened in 2008 offering ballet and tap lessons on a Wednesday night but quickly grew. The Wickford dance school is well established now offers: Ballet, Tap, Commercial, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Musical Theatre, Character, Jazz and Singing. The overall dance programme combined with Hayley's innovative and friendly teaching methods where each child is focused on individually helps a child reach their full potential. In addition to dance, HSD offers a friendly environment to build children's confidence and make life long friendships. Each class offers a different value to a child, be it an after school hobby or a platform for a future career. The dance school also compete's in competitions (Winning Best Dance Act 2015 in Essex) and offers many performance opportunities at locations like the Royal Albert Hall, The 02 and Her Majesty's Theatre to name but a few. 2017 will also see the children performing on Broadway at the New York Town Hall Theatre. Hayley's School of Dance are FYD national champions in contemporary, while Anais Mejias holds the best young choreographer award in Essex. The schools soloists hold many national titles competing at various competitions throughout each year.

Little Yoga Studio aims to empower children and adults, in mind and body, through a fun, creative and inspiring approach to yoga. My children’s classes focus on exploring a child’s natural flexibility. Improving their own strength and poise, while helping them nurture a strong sense of self and awareness of others. The journey isn’t dissimilar with my adult classes. With each class, we work on bringing inner harmony through movement, breath and meditation. Uniting the body, mind and spirit to awaken our true Self. My teaching journey began shortly after the birth of my daughter. Having practiced yoga for 10 years, I found motherhood gave me a new perspective. Wanting to deepen my practice, I found myself taking to the mat in between my classes. And as I moved through poses or paused in meditation, I noticed her watching with curiosity. Before long she was on my mat, copying the poses and demanding more ‘mummy yoga.’ Soon she had her own mat (in her favourite colour, purple, of course) and we were practicing yoga together daily. Really I have her to thank for setting me on this path. As watching her little character flourish in our practices together has inspired me to share this with both little and bigger minds alike. My 200-hr training with Avani Yoga Academy and Yoga Bananas means I am now honoured to share the ancient practice of yoga in an authentic and heartfelt way to adults, children and families alike. Of course yoga is a lifelong journey that is forever evolving. I am honoured to continue my own discovery with a 50-hour Yoga Nidra Immersion with Avani Yoga Academy and Naomi Absalom’s 6-month Liberate mentorship, among others.

A message from the Founder & Director Stephanie Williams S6 Tutoring Academy was formed following my own experience of working within the state education system. After graduating with a 2.1 BA Hons in Marketing and Business Studies, I qualified as a teacher and taught Maths, English, Music, Science and Business Studies in a Secondary State School. S6 Tutoring is a private limited company in the education sector, dedicated to tutoring and mentoring young people. The company is young and vibrant and is the choice for parents who want their children to maximise their academic potential. Our vision is to play a pivotal role in improving academic standards. The company provides an initial, honest, home assessment that will accurately evaluate a child’s need. Each tutor is CRB checked and has qualifications and experience relevant to the role. An assessment of a child’s ability and potential is carried out in the initial stages, leaving parents secure in their expectations.
