A bespoke twelve-week resilience and anger management programme, for your school. Sessions can be devised to meet your cohort requirements. Our programme supports Y5 & Y6, students who form part of your ‘hard to reach’ cohort, who without preventative intervention may struggle with transition into Y7 and may become at risk of permanent exclusion. Our programme can be tailored for Y7 students to support them further, post transition. Furthermore, we can adapt our programme to engage with vulnerable students who are low in confidence, self esteem and social skills. Week 1 is an introduction to the course to students. Weeks 2 -11 is; A one-hour period of Taekwondo, teaching students the importance of self-discipline and respect, whilst improving self-esteem, confidence and team working skills. A one-hour classroom-based session covering: mental health; mindfulness; sleep hygiene; relaxation & calming techniques; health and well-being; resilience and positive mental attitude. We can also deliver lessons exploring how to be a model citizen, and how to avoid becoming drawn into contemporary youth crime such as: anti-social behaviour; bullying; truancy; knife crime; gangs and substance misuse. We will also deliver lessons covering; parent abuse; internet safety; personal safety; child sexual exploitation (if the school deems appropriate); crime & consequences; and domestic violence. Baby Week is a registered charity and aims to bring sectors and services together to promote the best start in life. The initiative was inspired by Brazil’s ‘Semana do Bebe’ (UNICEF 2010), following a visit to the country by Churchill Fellow Lucy Potter. Leeds hosted the first English speaking Baby Week in 2016 and since has had interest from several other towns and cities wanting to host their own celebrations. Since Baby Week became a registered charity, Bradford, Hull, Wakefield, Cheshire and Merseyside have organised their very own take on Baby Week Leeds. In 2019, we were nominated and came in second place as charity of the year by The British Journal of Midwifery Practice Awards (BJM). Over the past six years, hundreds of citywide events have been held with thousands of attendees including parents, expectant parents, practitioners and professionals , and of course babies! Each city hosting the week has the opportunity to celebrate and bring together the work of maternity and early years services, helping to raise awareness of the critical developmental growth stages and a real focus on the 1001 days in order to give every baby the best start in life. Baby Week is organised with Child Friendly Leeds with partnerships involving NHS Leeds, Leeds Teaching Hospitals, Leeds Dads, Public Health, Mumbler, and many more partners across all sectors. To mark the 5 years in 2020, Baby Week Leeds focussed on five of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a focus over the next few years: Good Health and Wellbeing, Reduced Inequality, Sustainable cities and communities, Climate action and No Poverty.

Our Method of Delivery (Online Distance Learning) Online Live Learning via Zoom and Distance Learning (Recordings) Dedicated Learning Management System (Learning Portal) with Lessons via Zoom accessible via windows / mac computer, mobile phone (android and iPhone) and tablets (android and iPad). All Examinations completed online. Opportunity to meetup at Events, Q&A, Retreats and more. All modules / qualifications subject to completing and passing the examination come with certification and isnaad (Authentic certificate going through the teacher to the author of the text) Our teachers are mentored through the program under the tutelage of Shaykh Atabek. Teachers / scholars are encouraged to focus on research and teaching new optional and specialist modules each year advancing and progressing that area of study. We also have a strong ethos in scholars of the future to advance the knowledge and therefore the Shaykh may choose senior students who have qualified to teach. After completing 3 years / 3 levels and after qualifying there is no stop you may continue with Maturidi and study the specialist fields and either provide support or carry out your own research project with the guidance of Shaykh Atabek and other scholars. Our Islamic Scholarship program is highly flexible, allowing students to study modules at their own pace. We have an advisory timeframe of 3 years for completion. Examinations are held on a bi-annual basis for the modules already completed. We have a strong ethics in which we believe that the basic / foundation knowledge in each field should read everyone and therefore Shaykh Atabek has decided there will be no cost for these level 1 FREE - Basic / Foundation knowledge for modules. Continuous development - There is no end to learning, research and seeking knowledge. During our research if we believe, we need to go back to a text and further review and teach it with new principles we will do without hesitation.

We are IVE (formerly CapeUK) was established as an incorporated company in April 1997 and registered as a charity in April 1999. Inspired by radical new models of creative education, the company was originally set up as a research and development organisation. CapeUK looked to drill down into the creative process and explore how it might be used to drive improvements in teaching and learning. We became influential in relation to policy development and established a national and international reach in relation to championing creativity and professional learning. We also acted as advisors to Government on the importance of creativity and how it might be developed as a transferable skill. By 2014 we realised there was an opportunity to diversify our work and utilise the learning that 17 years of research and development had provided us. It was clear there was significant appetite beyond the education and cultural sectors for programmes that were aimed at developing the creative capacity and competencies of the workforce, and particularly in leadership. We have therefore spent the last 5 years designing and delivering training that aims to teach creativity as a transferable skill and how to create the right environment for creativity to flourish within the workplace, driving innovation, in a consistent and structured way. We also draw out the leadership and team behaviours that are needed to support this.
