Campsmount is an Academy within Leger Education Trust. We are committed to providing a high quality education for students, regardless of ability, and we offer a wide range of learning experiences that will inspire, engage and motivate all learners, leading to success and achievement. We are situated in the village of Norton, approximately 10 miles North of Doncaster on the border of West and North Yorkshire and with easy access to both the A1 and the M62. Our catchment area includes Norton and the ex-mining communities of Askern and Campsall, with students also travelling from more rural communities in North, West and South Yorkshire. Our ‘highly recommended’ Academy benefits from a very attractive site which includes excellent sports facilities, including floodlit all weather, multi-use courts, which the community can also enjoy. In 2012 we moved into our superb new building that provides outstanding facilities for staff and students. Designed with flexible learning in mind we have breakout and break-through teaching spaces and flexible classrooms. Our main school building also includes a large atrium and a dance hall with state-of-the-art springboard flooring.

Welcome to my website! I’m a level 3 matwork Pilates instructor and a British Wheel of Yoga trained Yoga teacher, as well as being a member of REPS. I’ve been teaching for over ten years; here you can find more about me, and here you can read more about the benefits of hatha yoga and pilates. A year and a half ago I moved to Sheffield and have since been steadily building up a range of group classes which are available on a drop-in basis to anybody who would like to come. These community classes are affordably priced with a concessionary rate available for students, job seekers and pensioners. Please see my current timetable for locations and details of these classes. I also offer individual (1-1 or 1-2) yoga and pilates sessions in Nethergreen, S11, for people who prefer more specialist attention. I’m the eldest of three girls, and as we were growing up, our mum made wedding dresses, upholstered furniture and created most of our clothes on her sewing machine. So I think it was inevitable that one of us would grow up with a creative streak. I’ve always enjoyed making things, not all of my ventures have been successful, but since moving into our current house and being somewhat uninspired by the range of beige lampshades on offer on the high street, I decided to learn how to make my own. Since that day I’ve become addicted. I feel lucky to have found a way to combine my love of beautiful fabrics with interiors – and spread the lampshade love to homes across Yorkshire and beyond. It’s something I take great pride in. I’m passionate about helping clients find that perfect fabric to match their new scheme and make them something unique – something they couldn’t find on the High Street. I also love teaching people how to make their own, on my lampshade making workshops – the smile as their lampshade starts to take shape is priceless. A bespoke twelve-week resilience and anger management programme, for your school. Sessions can be devised to meet your cohort requirements. Our programme supports Y5 & Y6, students who form part of your ‘hard to reach’ cohort, who without preventative intervention may struggle with transition into Y7 and may become at risk of permanent exclusion. Our programme can be tailored for Y7 students to support them further, post transition. Furthermore, we can adapt our programme to engage with vulnerable students who are low in confidence, self esteem and social skills. Week 1 is an introduction to the course to students. Weeks 2 -11 is; A one-hour period of Taekwondo, teaching students the importance of self-discipline and respect, whilst improving self-esteem, confidence and team working skills. A one-hour classroom-based session covering: mental health; mindfulness; sleep hygiene; relaxation & calming techniques; health and well-being; resilience and positive mental attitude. We can also deliver lessons exploring how to be a model citizen, and how to avoid becoming drawn into contemporary youth crime such as: anti-social behaviour; bullying; truancy; knife crime; gangs and substance misuse. We will also deliver lessons covering; parent abuse; internet safety; personal safety; child sexual exploitation (if the school deems appropriate); crime & consequences; and domestic violence. We describe ourselves as a 'boutique' driving school which is very much focused on meeting the needs of individual pupils. All the lessons and courses we provide are designed around each individual pupil - we don't believe a one-size-fits-all approach works. Driving lessons can be a nervous experience for many of us, in the early days, there are a lot of issues for us to contend with. As we gain experience and our skills develop, life does become easier behind the wheel. The aim of our teaching style is to teach you to a point beyond the driving test, getting you to try to think and drive like an experienced driver.
