Hi, welcome to my page. I’m Sam, owner and founder of AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training. If you have landed here then do have a look around and I hope what I offer resonates with you. I don’t like to be pigeon-holed these days so it’s very difficult to keep on top of all the things I offer and put them all in a “website” friendly way, so if there is anything you wish to ask me, or need clarifying, please just email me and let’s have a chat! So, on with the “about me”….. I created AuroraStar in 2008 with a desire to empower people and help them achieve harmony, health and well-being. After suffering from my own health issues, I sought to treat myself as naturally as possible, beginning my journey into a holistic approach to lifestyle wellness management. Reiki was my stepping stone, and continues to be the foundation and underpinning of all my holistic work. This led me to want to help others in the same way, providing them with the overwhelming benefits that a holistic lifestyle can bring. Having worked in the industry for a number of years now, I am fully qualified to NVQ level 3 , VTCT standard, insured, and registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists, and the Association of Professional Therapists and Lecturers With a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years in the health, beauty and fitness industry, I have an in-depth knowledge on the capability of the body and all it can accomplish if given the correct tools. So many health problems can be overcome or eased through holistic therapies, ensuring our quality of life is greatly enhanced. I am now trained in many different energy modalities and holistic therapies, and weave all of these into my work. Whether you are in need of simple relaxation or deeper healing, I offer a treatment that will suit any requirement, and training that will allow you to empower yourself to follow your own healing journey. I like to think I sit nicely balanced between the “woowoo” and the grounded!

Thrive is an independent occupational therapy service aimed at facilitating positive health and wellbeing outcomes for children and families in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas including Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire. Founded in September 2010 to supplement the provision of state funded services our aim is to provide timely therapeutic input and support. We help children to participate, perform and engage to their full potential in everyday activities such as, learning, self-care, social interaction and play. We are commissioned by and work with a range of settings in the community, including: charities, early years settings, individuals and mainstream and special schools.

Our Director (and trainer!), Alan, has been a Paramedic since 2002 and has been teaching First Aid since 2008. He decided to start a business to teach First Aid back in 2010, due to the lack of quality training he felt was available on the market. Alan knew that there was a mass urgency for people to be trained to deal with life threatening situations, and was able to offer his experience, and knowledge, in Emergency Medicine at an affordable price so that everyone could learn how to save a life. We are working together with plan2carerecruitment. At the P2C office we are here to change perceptions and stigma around Recruitment/Healthcare with P2C sourcing quality and providing excellence working directly with organisations for their permanent recruitment needs focusing on reducing how much organisations spend on (Agency) – At P2C we believe people who require our support need Stability, Continuity and a familiar face.

A student that gains life skills that they don’t teach in the classroom. Students who are empowered with the tools, vision and beliefs to help them live their best life so they can change the world.

Formed in April 2017, we run Elstow School, Bedford Free School and Queen’s Park Academy. We are opening a brand new secondary school, Houstone School, in September 2022. We believe very strongly in our values, which guide everything we do.
