Mentoring Leaders SportGrace Incorporation Faith Trust was established November 2003. The vision of GIFT was birthed after founder members believed that there was a need for the local church to ‘move out of the box’ and make impacting change in the community. The aim of GIFT is to support young people, men and women from a diverse range of communities to access education and to tackle a range of issues that affect their access, performance and progression into education, training and employment. GIFT’s approach is to provide a holistic service particularly for young people who are at risk of falling out of the education system with little or no qualification, in particular those at risks of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). GIFT aims to provide early intervention and preventative measures. The core activities of GIFT are the partnership work in the area of family support, counselling, mentoring, professional and personal development. We work with local authorities, health trusts, Connexions, youth offending service, and local schools, colleges and universities. We have achieved local partnerships with The Manchester College to pursue projects that tackle NEET (not in employment, education and training) young people providing educational and employment opportunities for young people and adults from diverse communities.

Since our establishment in 2006, our vision has been to actively help people achieve a better quality of life. Our sole goal is to serve the community through the quality of support we have been renowned for. We aim to motivate and mobilise individuals to achieve their social and work-related goals. In addition to our free classes, we deliver English language courses in Chorlton, Manchester as well as Sheffield. Our private English language classes in Manchester and Sheffield are accredited by the British Council. Community Revival (UK) is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation, limited-by-guarantee. As our name implies, we exist to refresh and revitalise the local community with a range of projects including, training, education, employment, recreation and social activities. Most of our beneficiaries are from the BME community with the majority being women, however Community Revival engages with all sections of society irrespective of background. Over 2000 students have completed English courses with us, improving their confidence, self-esteem and employment opportunities. We also promote social activities to improve social cohesion.
