Faith Encounters workshop give your students an opportunity to: · Meet people who live out their faith in the local community · Ask questions in a relaxed and open small grouped environment. How it works… Pupils engage with up to three different faith representatives using a carousel system. Each representative uses personal artefacts to bring their faith to life. This workshop can be delivered to single classes or entire year groups. We can also re-create a homely, safe and secure encounter with a person of faith, using our new living room backdrops, together with our collection of homely faith artefacts contained in our faith suitcases. The communal areas are low level lit, warm and inviting with associated ambient smells for each area. By contrast, the changing rooms convey industrial chic with top of the range copper rainwater showers and full locker room facilities. Everything is provided from shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to hairdryers and straighteners so you can go straight to the office or brunch from a morning class, or out to dinner after an evening session. 2 hours free on street parking also means you can drive to class without worry. Somebody will be manning the desk from half an hour before class begins, just ring the bell and they'll let you in.

She spent hours drawing and painting and could write fiction better than most college students. Yet, she loathed school. She rarely spoke in class, dropped out of the gifted and talented program, either didn’t do her homework or would forget to turn it in. She had As on the tests and Cs and Ds in the class. Jane’s academic future looked dismal. Poor grades and high test scores are not a winning combination for college admission. Her public school was not the right place for her, but neither were the local private schools. Academically-oriented private schools do not accept students with poor grades. Schools that accept students with poor grades are not always academically rigorous. Stalemate. Until we started FlexSchool. Jane spent six years at FlexSchool, learned to love learning again, graduated in 2020, and attends a well-known liberal arts college studying anthropology, linguistics, map-making, and art.
