We are both experienced primary school teachers and between us have over 30
years’ teaching experience covering Reception to Year 6. We have been key
members of senior leadership teams with Rachel holding an Assistant Head
position for 5 years. As well as being teachers, we are also mums. This has put
us in the privileged position of being on the other side of the playground. We
have both found in our teaching careers and as mums that parents have a real
desire to be able to help their children and sometimes need to look beyond the
classroom to do this. We want parents to feel confident in their choice of tutor
and that we will all work together to help your child fulfil their potential.
Bright Stars Education was formed in 2013 from our kitchen tables and allowed us
to go back to our roots of teaching children: helping them to progress, develop
and grow in confidence as well as having fun in their learning. We now have a
team of experienced, qualified and dbs checked tutors all working towards the
same goals. At Bright Stars Education we strive to make our tutoring sessions
fun, relevant and up-to-date. We use a range of different teaching styles and
resources to match your child’s identified needs.
