She has a shelf full of business awards and was in the top 100 UK female entrepreneurs list by F:entrepeneur as well as being a best selling author in the book ‘Inspirational Women Of The World’ “My life purpose is to save lives” Prior to creating her business Jenni was a police officer in London and experienced a vast number of real first aid emergencies including treating casualties at Edgware Road tube station during its bombing in 2005. In 2014 Jenni (a mum of 3) was sitting in a coffee shop chatting with a friend when her friend’s daughter choked, being an advanced first aider, Jenni knew just what to do. She quickly stepped in and successfully removed the blockage and the little girl recovered perfectly. It was this moment that she realised then that first aid was not something regularly offered to new parents and that so many parents didn’t have basic first aid skills that could so easily save their child’s life. When researching suitable first aid training classes she found that parents were restricted to longer certified classes aimed at the corporate market who often showed frightening videos and told distressing stories. Jenni felt she wanted to educate parents in a way that made them feel happy, confident and empowered rather than terrified and intimidated. Jenni has grown her business from table top to a being multi-award winning franchise with trainers running their own successful Daisy businesses UK wide. She is considered a paediatric first aid expert. She has featured in numerous publications, has a huge celebrity parents portfolio and volunteers her time at many national charity events. Amel Abosamek Amel Abosamek is a homeroom teacher at Nur Academy. She was born in Alexandria, Egypt and earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from Alexandria University. Sister Amel has completed several professional development and educator training programs. She has 17 years of experience teaching Math and Science for all levels up to 8th grade. Jamila Ali Mrs. Ali. will be our Kindergarten/First grade teacher during the 2022-2023 academic year. She was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida and have been here for 30 years! All new and existing customers must agree to following terms and conditions prior to and during their lessons at Little Swimming Co. Little Swimming Co. reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions. New terms and conditions will be posted on our website and will take affect from the said date. Previous versions of our terms and conditions will be available on request. Lessons and Fees Lessons can be booked via the website or via reception. We will endeavour to accommodate your chosen time and date however we may have to offer an alternative time and date if there is no availability. Alternatively, we can place prospective customers on a waiting list. A half an hour 1-2-1 lesson at Little Swimming Co. will cost £21.00 per customer. This is acquired through a Direct Debit collected on the 1st of every month. All customers are required to have monthly Direct Debits set up for the 1st of each month. If a Direct Debit is not set up Little Swimming Co. reserve the right to reallocate the lesson. Direct Debits are to be set up via the following link http://www.littleswimmingco.co.uk/direct-debit-sign-up. Please allow at least 7 days for the Direct Debit to activate. If the Direct Debit is not activated in due time for the collection date, 1st of the month, a one off cash or card payment can be made at reception. Cancellations and Refund Policy Lessons with Little Swimming Co. may be ceased by giving 14 Days written notice. Any lessons paid for, but not taken within a period of 1 month will be refunded, provided we receive 14 Days written notice. Lessons cancelled within 14 days of the start of each month are subject to a £10.00 Administration Fee. There will be no personal customer holidays in the event a customer cancels a session within 72 hours these cannot be made up. Lessons cancelled with notice of 72 hours may be offered a catch up slot where available. Lessons cannot be cancelled where a customer intends to retain a space, payment of each week retains the space. These lessons can instead be subject to a Catch Up Lesson. On any occasion the pool cannot provide you with your swimming lesson our variable Direct Debit will ensure the customer is not paying for lessons which cannot be undertaken by Little Swimming Co. Examples of this include, instructor cancellation, instructor holidays, or during our Christmas Closure. Little Swimming Co. will endeavour to provide the same swimming teacher continuously for each customer. In the event of management illness, annual leave or any other unavailability, Little Swimming Co. will provide a replacement instructor. A refund will not be offered if an alternative instructor is offered and declined by the customer. In the unlikely event an alternative teacher cannot be found then a refund will be offered.

The term Workie Ticket is a Geordie colloquialism, which means someone who likes to push one’s luck- a chancer or a cheeky trouble-maker. When JoJo Kirtley was a young lass, her Grandad Joe would call her, “a proper little workie ticket” and the nick-name stuck. So, when thinking of a name for her theatre company, it seemed the perfect choice and in 2017, Workie Ticket Theatre was founded. Our mission is to shake things up, be bold, push our luck within the theatre world and empower people through our work. JoJo Kirtley Founder & Co-Artistic Director “It’s hard being a woman in terms of what is happening in the current climate, but also I think there is a gap in the market for what we do and how we do it- working with women and encouraging them through theatre to tell their stories. Now is the time to speak up and speak out.” A writer, producer, facilitator and founder of Workie Ticket Theatre Company, JoJo Kirtley has been working for over a decade to create real social impact through theatre. Her work has been performed at The Lowry, Contact Theatre, The Exchange, (North Shields), Live Theatre and the 24:7 Theatre Festival. She is passionate about developing work within local communities to create a platform and raise awareness of issues that affect women in the North East region.
