Crystal&Co - Training And Test Center for CSCS Card Level 1, 2, 3

crystal&co - training and test center for cscs card level 1, 2, 3

Harrow,

I have made my CSCS card labourer at Crystal&Co in Harrow on the Hill and the staff was supper polite! I have received the electronic format of the CSCS card and certificate within 3 days from the course and I started the job quickly. Very happy with the customer service they provide! I needed a CSCS card labourer asap and Crystal&Co was the only place where I was able to take the course on a Sunday as I work from Monday to Saturday. On Thursday I received the electronic version of the CSCS card and the H&S certificate by email and I was able to start working. A few days later I received the card via Royal Mail because I live far away. Very polite and friendly staff. Strongly recommend Crystal&Co for the amazing service they provide. The staff at Crystal&Co is very friendly! I was told about this centre by my friend, he did his CSCS card at this centre and was very pleased with the services. I now found a job as a Labourer on a construction site so my advise to you is to take the course if you need it done fast and proper! Good luck to all! Great experience. On Thursday I made a reservation for Saturday. It was a one day class with the exam at the end. The course was well explained by the teacher, the exam was easy and from the information we received during the class. On Thursday I received the electronic version of the CSCS card, and I started the job. Thank you, Crystal&Co, I recommend with confidence!

Swanage

“I’ve always held the belief that we are all creative beings, and that given the right conditions, everyone is able to explore their strengths and reach their full potential.” Inspired at a young age to pursue creative disciplines, Tina began her career as a design and fine arts teacher and tutor. Working in further education colleges in impoverished and crime-riddled neighborhoods in the UK, she quickly encountered the challenges inherent in supporting students that had complex needs. These were young people struggling with violence and trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, low self-esteem and, in some cases, undiagnosed neurodiversity. They struggled to learn in the same way as other students did and were often marginalized by an academic system that measures success solely through targets and standardized tests. Tina quickly realized that no matter the resources or skills of staff available, when individuals are not emotionally and psychologically stable, they simply cannot excel. Driven by a deep compassion and a struggle she could understand, having grown up with violence and unrecognized neurodiversity in her own family, Tina sought ways to create an environment where young people could thrive and flourish, access their strengths and develop confidence. “I’ve always believed that every individual has their own unique strengths and in the right environment every person can get to know what those strengths are.” Training in counselling for drug addiction and Neuro-Linguistic Programming provided a foundation for a more holistic approach. She saw the success that her students experienced when they felt supported in a safe haven; a stress-free space of true presence and non-judgment where they could explore themselves freely through their creative process and develop confidence.

Language For Fun

Newcastle-Under-Lyme

Join one of our Lovely, lively language classes for adults. We have 500 classes in the UK, just waiting for you to learn French, Spanish or Italian for fun!At the time, I was teaching in an FE college, and in a Primary School and studying for a PGCE in adult education. I quickly realised that many of the games and interactive techniques that the children enjoyed could be adapted for adult pupils. I decided to trial a language course for adults where the focus was on fun and conversation, rather than results and written work. So in 2007 I created French for Fun and held my first classes in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Through trial and error, I came up with a regular weekly format that worked and incorporated the learning theory from my PGCE. The classes are now built around a series of conversations, so everyone gets up and talks in every lesson at the same time (no trembling in front of the class). In January 2010, after enrolling our 60th student, I decided to see if French for Fun worked with other languages. In March 2010, Sally and Alejandra started to translate the programme in to Spanish with great success and we have also finished the Italian translation. I also started to offer licences to other teachers, training them to use my materials and supporting them to set up their own language teaching business. We now have 100 teachers dotted around the country and we’re training more all the time, so there will be a class coming to somewhere near you soon. Yippee! If you know anyone who would like to get involved in the next chapter of this story, either as a learner, a teacher, or to translate the programme in to their language, get in touch!

Berkshire Outdoor Education Trust

Hertford

The Berkshire Outdoor Education Trust was founded in 1977/78. The original purpose of the Trust was to locate and operate an Outdoor Education Centre for the use of Berkshire school children. The Trust was started with the active encouragement and support of Berkshire County Council and its then Director of Education, Peter Edwards and the late John Wood Griffiths an officer in the Berkshire Education department. The Trustees raised and borrowed the money to buy an existing centre from Glamorgan County Council in the small settlement of Rhos y Gwaliau in the Snowdonia National Park, close to the market town of Bala. In the early years Berkshire County Council paid the teachers’ salaries and gave an annual grant towards the other teaching equipment that was needed, mainly protective clothing. The Trustees managed the centre, hired and paid the domestic and maintenance staff and settled all other expenses including food and heating costs out of the fees charged to attendees. With teachers’ salaries paid by the LEA the additional amount needed to be charged to pupils was quite modest. Over time, however, the level of subsidy given by the County Council was reduced and when in 1998 the 6 Unitary Councils replaced the County Council the subsidy was phased out completely. In consequence fees had to rise considerably. It was at this point that the Trustees decided to sell the centre to the present owner, who had been a teacher at the centre for some time previously. The trust then invested the proceeds of sale and now use the income to assist the most financially disadvantaged young people in the County enjoy the benefits and experience of time spent in outdoor educational activity.

Cheshire Exam Success

All our tutors, for revision sessions and weekly group tutoring, are teachers with relevant experience, current curriculum knowledge and skills to be able to ensure revision sessions are specific to the exact exam board and assessment objectives. All tutors are inspiring and can engage and motivate students to succeed and be confident learners. I am a history teacher of 25 years, with over 15 years of examiner experience covering all exam boards. I currently examine for WJEC (Educas),Edexcel and AQA GCSE and AQA and Edexcel A Level. I lead courses all over the country that cover exam technique, revision strategies and history specific knowledge. I also work with schools to improve departments and increase student outcomes. I have been a subject leader and Head of Faculty for many years and understand what is required to enable students to make the greatest progress. With that in mind I have Jayne_mackay a team of experienced teachers, that I have worked with over the years, to lead the revision sessions. All teach the range of student ability and will ensure that the sessions are pitched at the right level for your child to enable them to develop and make progress from their starting points. Intensive revision sessions can motivate your children to approach their revision more independently and give them the tools to achieve their very best. The smaller class sizes means more individual attention, which is beneficial in improving results. The work of Cheshire Exam Success will supplement what is done in school and will provide consolidation and enrichment. I have a year 13 child of my own and am aware of the pressure and increasing demands on students to achieve, by using Cheshire Exam Success you can be assured your child will gain that extra support that will allow them to gain their best possible result. I was born in the 1960s in Somerset, UK the eldest of two daughters of Heather and Nick Bune. My mum was a housewife and dad a welder after starting an early career as a coal miner. The coal mining industry ran in the blood of my family as both grandfathers and all of my great grandfathers were coal miners. I grew up in a happy, loving home where money was always tight. There were no daytrips, no foreign holidays for me – in fact we didn’t have a telephone until I was a teenager and we didn’t have a car until I’d left home. At school I was one of those children who sits in the middle, grey and unnoticed, yet plodding on. I got seven O levels and a qualification in touch typing –my careers ‘adviser’ told me I should am to be a secretary or a nurse. Not a chance! However, I didn’t do as well in my A levels as expected and ended up going to a more ‘lowly’ college of higher education, now Bath Spa University. I took a degree in English Literature & History and loved it. I did well in my degree, getting a high 2:1 and took a PGCE and trained to be a teacher though quickly realised this was not for me. I always wanted to be a journalist – I used that year to apply for any relevant job. I eventually got a traineeship on a local newspaper in Somerset, then two years later moved on to a daily newspaper in Swindon, where I went on to be crime reporter and then business editor. I was also running as a volunteer a radio programme for Hospital Radio Swindon.
