Essex Football Coaching is a sports coaching company working with nurseries, schools and local football clubs. We also run our own pre-school and evening futsal classes throughout the week. Established in 2009, EFC is now well respected by many schools, parents, coaches and players in the local area, due to our success. Owned by an experienced PE teacher and a Director of Youth Football, from one of Essex biggest clubs, our company is driven and extremely experienced in many different areas. Our growing reputation is maintained by football camps that are held during the school holidays. We believe that player input and parental feedback is vital, to ensure that every child has an enjoyable and beneficial time with us. EFC’s Mini Kickers programme was introduced in September 2015. The programme is based on delivering football to children aged 18 months – 5 years old. With coaches experienced in dealing with this age group, we are in a fantastic position to offer impressive coach to player ratios as well as a local football club into which players can progress. After our inception as a specialist football coaching company, we now offer coaching in other sports due the demand from local schools. All of our coaches are at least - FA qualified, CRB checked and first-aid trained. Our company thrives on setting ourselves high standards and ensures that our youngsters are exposed to sport in a fun and positive learning environment.

My name is Sarah and I am your local qualified level 5 behaviourist and trainer with over 7 years of experience working with dogs and their owners. I specialise in behavioural issues including reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety and resource guarding; however, I also love to work on the fun stuff too, both including puppies and general obedience. My methods revolve primarily around positive reinforcement and I want to offer advice that is effective and realistic. My clientele are those who want to work with their dog to understand their behaviour and truly address the deeper issues. This means that I won't promise you an overnight fix for 90% of problems because they don't exist without masking the problem. I relate dog training to weight loss. Quick fixes and fads may appear to work initially but eventually they create more problems or the problem re-emerges worse than ever. They just aren't sustainable and arguably unethical. Instead, if you follow a goal and work on changing habits, you'll get results long-term. I believe in rewarding dogs for good behaviour and I also believe in boundaries. I avoid use of prong and shock collars and aspire to set your dogs up for success. I have 3 dogs, a 7 year old tripawd German Shepherd called Bowser, a 5 year odl Rottweiler called Rosie and an 8 month old rescue German Shepherd called Pablo.

OUR BACKGROUND The story of Nova began in 2002. At that time, the founder of Nova, started his first humble furniture retail outlet of 3,000 square feet, Crawford Italia Pte Ltd, in Crawford Centre. A team of 4 staff worked for hand in hand to manage Crawford Italia which focuses on living room concept furniture retail. After a year of operations, the excellent sales performance of Crawford Italia motivated the team to consider taking on a bigger outlet to enable the business to grow. The success of the pioneer team with their accumulated experience in furniture retail & operations, in-depth understanding of the local furniture market and their entrepreneurial spirit to make things happen, propelled the team to take on a bold decision to take up a 20,000 square feet outlet in A-Z Building in Paya Lebar in 2003. That was the birth of Nova. Since then we never looked back; and by 2006, another 20,000 square feet outlet was taken up. This time round to cater to people in the West part of Singapore, in Tradehub 21 in Boon Lay Way. Following that, a 3rd outlet was opened in May 2008, in Sungei Kadut, north-west of Singapore. Our next new export outlet of 30,000 square feet in Ang Mo Kio, targeted for operations in Aug 08, will be serving residents in the North. Besides Singapore, plans are also in the pipeline to start our retail operations in Malaysia in end of 2008.
