I am a mindfulness and yoga teacher with over 15 years’ experience working in facilitation, personal development, training design and delivery, coaching and wellbeing. I teach yoga, mindfulness and stress management techniques to help people thrive, especially when life is complex and demanding. My passion is helping people live happy and fulfilling lives, do what they love, and make a difference in the world. We all face challenges in a fast-paced world. I work to create moments of stillness and connection that allow you space to breathe and just be. From this place you are free to think clearly and get your life working in the way you want. Whether working with individuals, groups or corporate clients, compassion is at the heart of what I do. I believe that self-care can be a radical act that transforms our relationship to the world and our place within it, through nurture, rest and deep healing. I know that profound change can happen kindly, through thoughtful enquiry and values-based action. My work is grounded in the integrity of many years of personal practice, study and experience. This in turn supports the values-driven foundation for my work in social and educational inclusion, with a particular focus on equality and inclusion in higher education. I also have experience in facilitating learning across a wide range of settings including schools, universities and workplaces. Picture My current interests are positive psychology; mindfulness based approaches; stress and resilience; creativity; nature connection; and the power of play. I have trained as a mindfulness teacher with the Centre for Mindfulness Research at Bangor University and the Oxford Mindfulness Centre at the University of Oxford, and follow the UK Mindfulness Network Good Practice Guidelines.

Stop Hurt at Work is the campaign set up by Conduct Change to uphold its clear commitment to its social purpose: Our mission is to end workplace bullying through the development of meaningful prevention activities for organisations and the implementation of effective routes to redress for individuals. Campaign for change [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/stophurtatwork-legislation] We are campaigning for formal recognition of workplace bullying as a problem that injures individuals and damages organisations. The law does not provide sufficient protection or redress for people whose employers let bullying go unchecked, making the process of seeking legal remedy in these cases unduly complex and arduous. We are working with lawyers and legislators to identify and close the gaps in legislation. Awareness raising [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/webinars-podcasts] From a foundation of research into new approaches and awareness raising, we are creating proposals for change to both workplace approaches and to legislation. We share and showcase news and progress through newsletters, webinars [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/webinars-podcasts], podcasts [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/webinars-podcasts], events and social media. Research [https://www.conductchange.co.uk/research] We select topics for research which concern any type of harassment and also bullying.  Our research ultimately focuses on workplace effects and is concerned with adults. We are willing to use a variety of methods - case studies, questionnaires and interviews, for example. Bullying is a complex issue which requires a multi-faceted response. There are many factors that influence behaviour – in our schools, our communities and online. We benefit from a wealth of research both in the UK and internationally relating to bullying, and we are influenced by a broad range of theoretical approaches. Direct interventions with children and families We provide interventions with children at an individual and peer group level and family-based interventions. Work with schools and the community We support staff to understand how their actions influence the behaviour of children and consider practical ways we can build safe communities. Wider societal influence We consider the ways that our society and culture influence the behaviour of children and are champions for kindness, empathy, inclusion and respect. The impact of our work There are five main ways that we reduce the impact of bullying and harm: Building communities of support Reducing isolation and loneliness Promoting positive relationships Supporting resilience and wellbeing Helping children recognise and respond to bullying behaviour.
