BURTON CRICKET CLUB The cricket club was established by a group of locals who
wanted to enjoy competitive cricketing contests with like-minded teams, played
in an idyllic setting and always to the renowned spirit of the game. Burton play
a healthy mix of competitive league and friendly cricket fixture throughout the
season and currently sustains three distinct teams: Chester & District Midweek
Cricket League team, Midweek Friendlies team (Thursday evenings in the main) and
the Sunday Friendlies team.
