Ridley Consultancy improves outcomes for children and young people with special
educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We advise and support local
authorities and schools to meet the legal requirements of the Children and
Families Act 2014. Julia set up Ridley Consultancy in 2015, recognising the
urgent need for expertise, strategic advice and practical support to ensure
local authorities and schools are SEND-compliant. Over the last 18 months, we
have worked with over 20 schools and 16 early years’ settings to bring them in
line with the legal requirements set out in the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
