Who? Where? What? We are engaging with audiences in schools, libraries, youth groups, wellbeing organisations, archives and heritage centres, independent museums and historic houses and places to immerse people in the key moments told by real actors in authentic Elizabethan rooms. We meet our protagonists in their Privy Council chambers, in the Queen’s bedchamber and as they walk through the passageways of historic homes. We will be listening in on their conversations, and arguments, and as they enjoy themselves during the entertainment put on during their journey. We aim to enlighten, embolden and enhance the heritage of this spectacular event in our region in 1578. However, you need to be prepared to complete the tasks and earn yourself the status of one of Walsingham’s Watcher! Putting on a Progress 1578: Pageantry, People and Places will transport people back in time using 360° immersive films to discover how and why, in the summer of 1578, Queen Elizabeth traveled from London through East Anglia to Norwich.

Elliot and Annie founded Transparent Presence shortly after Elliot transitioned socially and they discovered that (at the time) there were no groups in Cornwall, UK for transgender people and their families and friends. In August 2021, Transparent Presence CIC was set up so that additional support and resources could be provided for the transgender, non-binary and gender-queer community of Cornwall and their friends and family. Elliot and Annie alongside other company directors and staff, live and breathe the values and ethos of living your truth and building strength together which became the motto of Transparent Presence CIC.

Mital is a visionary leader, innovator, learner and educator. She founded the multi-award-winning Spark Academy back in 2009 whilst she was teaching as a qualified teacher in schools. As a passionate educator with a strong social conscience, Mital’s firm ethos is about making quality education affordable; so that it provides pathways for social mobility and brighter opportunities in your child’s future. Mital not only has a unique teacher’s perspective but that of a learner too! Mital is actively looking at ways to improve the learning experience for Spark’s students and she is a big believer in research and development of the programme to suit not only children’s current needs but also to reduce the future skills gap – ensuring that all children under Spark’s care are future-ready with the skills and strategies to lead brighter and joyous lives.
