1:1 sewing classes

Is your 14+ teenager looking for something different to do this summer. Are they more creative than sporty. This craft class might just be what they’re looking for. In this week long class they will learn how to take their own measurements and draft a simple pair of trousers. Then we’ll move onto the sewing machines where they will sew up their pattern using fabric they have brought in. Finally they will be able to use the photo studio to take fashion photos of their creations.

Bring your own project to work on in the company of other crafters.  Whether you are a knitter, a crocheter, love embroidery or just need to hem a pair of trousers this weekly craft club will make making a little less solitary.  There won't be any tuition from me as such but I'd hope we can all help each other.  There will be a small charge to cover teas and coffees and possibly cake!
