Our mission is to change the world – one girl at a time. Rites for Girls trains women to mentor girls right through their adolescence and to facilitate girls’ groups.  In Girls Journeying Together groups preteen girls prepare for puberty and learn how to take charge of their emotional, social, and mental well-being. This guidance continues through their teenage years.  Our Facilitators also support their mothers as the girls journey through this pivotal phase.  Our Girls’ Net groups provide guidance and camaraderie through times of challenge to small groups of same-age girls (aged 8-18) in weekly online sessions.  Our Mentors offer tools for coping well and the girls access their inner resources while also realising that they’re not alone.  We train women to become the woman they needed in their lives when they were young.  And together we make growing up for girls an easier, safer, and better supported journey.

Stages Performing Arts has been established for over 25 years and is the areas leading Musical Theatre and Dance studio. Stages offers classes for any age and ability in all aspects of the Performing Arts. Our ethos is based on providing classes that build confidence in a safe, fun, family friendly, positive environment. Every student is encouraged to reach their maximum learning potential by our fully qualified, DBS checked professional staff. As a school we look forward each term to welcoming any new students who have a desire to learn and share our experience and love of the performing arts. Our focus for the student is to build self esteem, confidence and develop their individual talents. Students who are hard working, motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated will undoubtedly reach their full potential achieving exciting and challenging ventures. Past pupils have gone on to train full-time at university and colleges, and to work in the business both performing and teaching. Care To Listen is an affordable and well respected counselling service located in Croydon and also serving local areas of South-East London including Sutton, Purley and surrounding areas. Established in 2007, we are a team of professional counsellors that provide confidential counselling and mental health support to all our clients. Our focus is low cost counselling for all. We treat everyone with the utmost respect and every client can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged. We have strong connections with the NHS and have delivered Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) counselling in Croydon since 2016. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality low-cost counselling service and mental health support which is accessible and affordable to all. Care To Listen specialises across the breadth of counselling issues, which could include relationships, bereavement, anxiety and depression, trauma and low self-esteem, amongst many others. By looking at the ways people think, behave and feel, together we can explore what aspects of a person’s life could be changed to solve particular problems.

Passionate about transforming young lives Seb’s Foundation was established in 2016 to foster hope and inclusion, by using the power and positivity of sport and education to remove barriers and enable young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds to fulfil their ambitions and flourish. By providing scholarships, rugby training programmes, as well as workshops to develop mental health and self-esteem to young people who wouldn’t usually have access to them, our aspiration is to see them develop and thrive. Our aim is to provide opportunities, open new horizons and nurture aspirations that would otherwise have been closed to them and beyond their reach. Child poverty in the UK There were 4.3 million children living in poverty in the UK in 2019/20* In a classroom of 30 children, 9 were living in poverty** Children are the group of the population most likely to be in poverty*** Child poverty has been rising in both absolute and relative terms for nearly a decade*** Children in poverty have to fight harder for their futures. It has serious implications for their academic attainment, their social networks and their mental health. Our work is rooted in investing in those futures.

The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. The role of the arts builds character and self-esteem and at The Rose Arts London, one of the assets that I hold as an important part, is the family friendly atmosphere.This delivers a guarantee from us, that our space is a positive and productive learning environment, where our students can grow, most importantly learn, and create in an energetic, confident building atmosphere. Students are able to discover more about themselves artistically, gain new friends and be proud to be a part of The Rose Arts. Myself and our teachers, who have work(ed) within the industry, aim to continually make The Rose Arts London a success, with the passion we hold and with which, our goal is to impart our experiences, knowledge and love of the arts to our students. I have been blessed to be able to open a school, attended by such passionate students, to be able to witness how they will develop in years to come.
