Malearn offer accredited qualifications and short courses to local residents and childcare businesses. Our Trainers, Assessors and IQAs have a wide range of experiences working in different roles within the education, quality assurance and childcare sector. Malearn qualifications are accredited by Training Qualification UK (TQUK). All our accredited qualifications are regulated through Ofqual. We also offer flexible learning qualifications. Learners will have direct access to an allocated Assessor, who will ensure that they have a positive learning journey. Learners will benefit from regular tutorial, workplace visit and ongoing support for the full duration of the programme. Learners enrolled on our early years and childcare qualifications will receive face-to-face assessment in their work environment, as part of their programme. Our fees include registration, certificate, allocated Trainer/ Assessor and learning resources. In addition, we offer short courses at an affordable price. These short courses are not accredited. However, some are endorsed by CACHE for an additional fee, if the learner wish. These courses are excellent CPD opportunities for any persons in the childcare, business and care sector. Formed in 2010 by Directors Simon and Vicky Jinks, SeaRegs has evolved in the past years to its purpose-built training centre at Turnchapel Wharf, Plymouth and a training base at the Royal Docks, London. The Plymouth centre has a dedicated Navigation Simulation room for ECDIS and Radar training as well as a workshop for engineering and Seamanship training, allowing specific and specialised training. Our waterside location in Plymouth, along with our range of boats, compliments the shore-based aspects of the courses, providing students with all the on-site facilities needed to successfully complete their courses.

The program attained 180 students and won numerous state championships, giving Roberts the idea to create similar programs adapted for a broader age demographic. She brought the first Engineering For Kids programs to a local elementary school, where they were a hit. She received such a positive response that she decided to leave teaching to devote all of her time developing Engineering For Kids. The Program’s Success Today Since its inception, this program has changed the lives of more than 350,000 students. Our franchisees share Roberts’ passion for Engineering For Kids and we all understand the need for science, technology, engineering, and math enrichment that’s engaging and fun.
