Bowles became a charity for children and young people in 1964 with HRH The Duke of Edinburgh coming on board as Royal Patron in the same year. Bowles now supports thousands of young people from all backgrounds to take part in outdoor education courses and activities all aimed at helping young people to grow and to develop in a beautiful, adventurous and challenging, yet safe environment. Bowles supports hundreds of schools and youth groups to help their young people get the best experiences possible. The outcomes of The Bowles Rocks Trust are self confidence, resilience, physical and mental health, friendship and fun.

There is also no doubt that all inventions are a product of education. From the pen we write with to the papers we write on all are amazing inventions and are products of education. At Blue Ink Trust we believe that every human being must be literate and educated. The world with literate and educated human beings would be far better place. In many third world countries education is a privilege thing which everyone does not deserve to have neither everyone can afford it. Nonetheless the fact is that only education can resolve the situations the humanity is facing. Dear colleagues, everything has to come to an end, so is our lives. This earth has seen billions of people but only few of them are known to the mankind and they are remembered only due to their contributions to the humanity. As the school is named after the great English bowler Harold Larwood, great emphasis is placed upon hard work, attitude to learning, being a member of a team and trying things which may be different.

Sherwood Park special school are also associate members and partner with the Trust. , The Sutton Education Trust is a Co-operative Trust. This means that stakeholders, be they pupils, staff, parents/ carers, governors are full members and contribute in many ways. People who work and live locally, family members of our children as well as past pupils themselves can also join the Trust. There are also opportunities for other groups or bodies such as other schools and educational establishments to become members of the Trust. Currently these include Crystal Palace Football Club and Orchard Hill College.

Supporting Achievement Nurturing Development The Trust was formed in June 2019 to enable and develop partnerships working across a group of academies. Academy Trusts are created by a number of academies working together. Academies are independent, self-governing schools that are funded directly by the Government and not via the Local Authority. The Trust now consists of five schools, Willow Primary Academy, Belmont School, Battledown Centre, Paternoster School and The Milestone School. Each school will maintain its own unique ethos, culture and identity that has been established over many years to ensure the needs of pupils are met.
