Kraken Diving was founded and is run by Master Scuba Diver Trainer + Tec Instructor Rob Slight and partner, Master Scuba Diver Trainer Margot Watson. Both of us were lured up to Orkney to complete a Divemaster Internship with our friends over at Scapa Scuba and just kept coming back! Rob completed his in 2013 and fell in love with the wrecks of Scapa Flow. In order to come back he completed his PADI instructor course and has been working as a dive instructor ever since (with the odd year out to travel). Margot completed her Divemaster in 2019 which turned out to be the final year Scapa Scuba were running as a dive school. As two huge wreckheads and lovers of Orkney life, we decided to open up Kraken Diving to ensure there was still an easy and accessible way for people to dive in one of he worlds best wreck sites.

We recruit and train a number of specialist staff dedicated to Manned Guarding. Our guard force are all fully vetted and SIA licensed and undergo full “due diligence” during the recruitment phase. Once selected; they then face a two part training package at our training facilities before being allowed to be inducted on site. All of our guard force is monitored for expiry of all relevant licenses and problems are highlighted and addressed before they come to light, ensuring that, at no time, do we employ guards without the correct documentation. The management team at Contract Security UK are extremely proactive and always willing to listen to the client and adapt our services in order to meet individual client needs. The Commtap site is run independently by a not for profit organisation (Commtap CIC). It has had support from Tower Hamlets NHS Primary Care Trust (now part of Barts Health) Speech and Language Therapy Service to Children and Tower Hamlets Education and has received financial support from the Canary Wharf Group and UnLtd. The following people are involved in the co-ordination and running of the project (and provide their time for free in doing so!) We are keen to widen the participation in this project to as many Education Authorities and SLT departments as may be interested so that this resource can be developed into something that will be really useful for many people working with communication. I’m a movement specialist and I’ve taught Feldenkrais since completing my training in Amsterdam in 2008. I’m passionate about helping people feel as free as possible in their bodies. Whether you’ve noticed your mobility has started to decline or you’re encountering challenges from injury or other issues, I’d like to help. I’ve helped many people to continue the activities they’re passionate about, whether its running, sport, dance or simply playing with grandchildren. These things form a huge part of our happiness and identity. I practise in Chichester, West Sussex and online (thanks to a recent push from Covid 19). I relocated here from a thriving London practice in 2019 after starting a family. My background is in contemporary dance and I guest lecture at Trinity Laban, London College of Music and several UK universities. The NEN Trust was setup in 2008 to play the critical role of establishing an entrepreneurship ecosystem in a large number of tier 1 and 2 academic campuses across India. The goal was to enable young people on campuses to ‘do’ entrepreneurship while still on campus so that they could actively build aspiration, skills, confidence and networks which would increase their chances of starting new ventures successfully sooner rather than later upon graduation. Since its inception, NEN has worked with 500+ academic institutions including the founding institutions of its network IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad, BITS Pilani, S P Jain Institute of Management and IBAB. NEN spent its initial years creating and establishing student E Cells actively running activities, competitions and start-up sessions across hundreds of campuses; trained 1500+ faculty in ‘doing experiential entrepreneurship programs’ including workshops and courses on campus; helped spur the development of 100+ entrepreneurship and innovation centres within its network institutions; and enabled 100,000s of students to get the exposure, and develop skills in entrepreneurship and venture creation. Today, NEN enables campuses and incubators to run virtual accelerated programs to maximise startup success. NEN is partnering with State startup policy makers, Govt. incubators, MHRD IICs and Innovation Labs. NEN’s program structure, tools & resources, digital content, technology platform, facilitator development and wide network of mentors is helping build healthy startups and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. We are motorcycle people. That means we care about you and your safety. Established in 2014, JJ's Motorcycle Training is owned and run as a family business. Dave and Amanda took over the daily running of the business in 2020 and continue to promote the ethos of safe riding at all levels. Amanda rides regularly and on every opportunity available but we do have to restrict her to the office sometimes to take your calls and bookings. Dave has been riding motorcycles for 45 years and training for nearly 30 years, with well in excess of a million miles covered in the saddle; you will usually find Dave out and about with the trainees, but mostly doing as he's been told by Amanda. Dave is committed to raising the standard of instruction across the industry but to still ensure that learning to ride is enjoyable. Our progressive learning policy ensures that there is a training package suitable for everyone whatever your age, riding ability or previous experience. Jim White Jim spent 30 years in the RAF and has been riding motorbikes since he was 14. He has a passion (some would say an obsession) for motorcycling, and his sole aim is to contribute to improving road safety among motorcyclists; the most vulnerable road users. Jim started the company in 2014 and despite retiring, remains available part time to instruct, when not travelling the globe on another adventure. Gordon Gordon is the newest member of the team and is currently training with us to gain his full instructor status. He has been riding for many years and on a variety of different machines; his calm approach and clear instructions helps put new riders at ease. Our team of highly qualified DVSA approved instructors will ensure that you receive the best quality training available in the UK today.
