the super sparrow
I’m Lilly, the designer maker behind The Super Sparrow ceramics. I played around
with clay a bit on and off as a child and again during a couple evening
sculpture courses while working as a cardiac nurse. Eventually, I got the
courage to follow my heart and apply to art school, a bit later than most, and
eventually finished up with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from
Central Saint Martins. I’m not being dramatic when I say it changed my life. It
reminded me of how important it is to do something you love and to have fun
doing it. I run my small business while still working part time as a nurse but
am hoping to be able to do this more full time in the years to come.
