I am immensely proud to have joined the school as Headteacher in September 2018. Academic excellence and students’ personal growth are equally important to us. Dyson Perrins has a strong sense of community, a desire to support and nurture individuals, and a commitment to challenging students to fulfil their potential. We expect students to show respect, be kind and work hard. The school has seen rapid improvements over recent years and has established a strong reputation within the local community. CDAT was formed in 2014 by the Chester Diocesan Board of Education (DBE) and has worked in very close partnership with the DBE ever since its inception. The trust has a distinctive ethos that is clearly rooted in clear, Christian values – respect, friendship and trust, to name just three. These impact on every area of our work and are communicated and shared in such a way that all member schools can understand and relate to them. Although the Trust was initially set up by the DBE, it is fully inclusive and we are happy to welcome both church and community schools into the CDAT family.

Inspired by the sea and nature I have developed an organic feel to my designs which are “lovingly handmade, simple, natural and timeless”.
