Tots Play Hull

tots play hull

Newport

Hi, I’m Angharad and I live in Hull with my husband Paul, our two boys Caden and Colby and dog Phoebe. Since having my sons, I longed for a career change that gave me more time with my family. With being in the hairdressing industry for 19 years I knew what I enjoyed most was working with people. After much research I found Tots Play. Not only had I found a class that appealed to me as a mother with all the variety it offered, but also made me excited at the thought of being able to help parents or carers develop their connection to their child with all the benefits baby massage, yoga, signing, music, movement and sensory play provides. I will also make sure you take away lots of fantastic ideas to carry on the fun times at home. Having my youngest in the first lockdown has shown me how important baby and toddler classes are, not just for little ones but for helping parents bond with their child, as well as building invaluable supportive relationships with others in the same situation. Being a parent can be incredibly challenging and lonely sometimes so finding a class where you can share stories, laugh about the adorable or cringy moments and feel part of a community is irreplaceable. Have a look at the classes below to find the class that is best for you. Book your place and let the fun begin. If you have any questions you can contact me by email at angharadh@totsplay.co.uk or call/text me on 07816501552. I can’t wait to meet you and your little one at a class very soon Happy playing Angharad

Feed Eat Speak

London

I am Stacey Zimmels and I'm the owner of Feed Eat Speak. I set it up this company so that I could help families and children to get the help they need when they need it most. I now work independently after almost 20 years in NHS positions. I currently hold an honorary contract the NHS Royal Brompton Hospital in London, having lead their Paediatric Speech Therapy service for the last 8 years. I continue to do some Locum clinical work there as well as clinical research. I'm one of those really lucky people who get out bed each day and goes to work because I love what I do. Helping you and your little ones is a real pleasure and passion for me (that's honestly true). I understand just how stressful and awful it is to have a child who can't or won't eat. It can often feel like no one is listening and that there is no one out there who can help. It can be very worrying to have a child who is different to their peers and to feel desperately hopeful that they will just 'catch up' but deep down you’re concerned that may not be the case. It's hard to find someone you can trust. If this sounds familiar then contact me. I offer a no obligation, free 15 minute phone consultation where you can discuss any concerns you have and see if your child would benefit from speech therapy or a feeding consultation. I provide and deliver the feeding and swallowing and breastfeeding support services and I have a small team of highly experienced speech therapists who can support all areas of speech, language and communication development.

Wales

Since Christopher drowned I/RASS have educated over 500.000 young people and adults across North Wales UK and Ireland as to the dangers of open water. From the beginning I wanted to create a Legacy which would leave a memorable impact on both young people and adults in making them more aware of their own and others safety. The strain on our emergency services over the years and ongoing research has proved that CPR First Aid and SABL Education particularly in Wales was not on our curriculum and therefore in 2021 RASS in Partnership with Ajuda Training will provide this extra service across Wales. This would help in many ways to reduce incidents where people were rescued and aid in the saving of lives using the education taught on a peer to peer basis. RASS works with all the emergency services across the UK and is proud to be involved in the – All Wales Drowning Prevention Strategy of which members are RLSS RNLI ROSPA CFOA MPA to name but a few. Awards RASS has received recognition from Emergency Services across the UK and beyond. Awards such as Free To Network Resilience In Business – Finalist Pride of Britain – Special Achievement Award National Lottery Awards – presented By Bear Grylls – WCVA Award – Liverpool Lifestyle Award – Special Achievement The project is needed as there is not enough Water Safety and Lifesaving Education. Young people take risks, drink alcohol, and put their lives and others in danger. There are a number of ‘Hot Spots’ in the local area and across North Wales where young people visit on a regular basis to have fun and which often are having to be chased away or rescued by our emergency services.
