On becoming an independent social enterprise, we went on to deliver large-scale neighbourhood regeneration programmes like the Single Regeneration Budget, New Deal for Communities and Neighbourhood Renewal Funding. In 2011 Renaisi was part of the consortium that set up the Big Local programme. Our role managing the ‘reps’ took us beyond London and allowed us to bring together the two halves of our expertise; supporting communities and social research. Alongside that national work we delivered services in Islington, Haringey and Hackney that helped migrant communities get the most out of the local school system. While the policy and funding landscape has changed a lot in the last 20+ years, ‘place’ has remained the lens we use to consider our work. We’re constantly learning from the different perspectives we see from working directly with communities, with the providers of services and the investors in communities. It gives us a unique perspective on how systems work and how to improve places fairly.

About Us At Breakthrough Education we work with schools and child care facilities throughout East Anglia to provide consultancy, inset and in-house training. He has advised Public Health England and the Chair of the NHS Health and Social Care Digital service. Muir’s work focuses on providing training to healthcare professionals on value based healthcare. Sir Muir has worked for the National Health Service in England since 1972, occupying a variety of senior positions during that time, including serving as the Director of Research and Development for Anglia and Oxford Regional Health Authority, and first establishing and then being the Director of the UK National Screening Committee. He founded the National Library for Health, and was the Director of Clinical Knowledge, Process, and Safety for the NHS (England) National Programme for IT, serving as the Director of the National Knowledge Service. He was the first person to hold the post of Chief Knowledge Officer of the NHS (England), also serving as the co-Director of the Department of Health’s Quality Innovation Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) Right Care Programme. Together with Sir Iain Chalmers, Muir was instrumental in establishing the Cochrane Collaboration. Sir Muir is an internationally renowned authority on healthcare systems and has advised governments of several countries outside the UK including Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain and Germany and regularly delivers plenary sessions at international events, the most recent being the 2014 World Health Summit in Berlin, the Big Data in Pharma conference in London in 2015 and the 2015 Transplantation meeting at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Sir Muir is also a Professor in the Nuffield Department of Surgery at the University of Oxford. He received the CBE in 2000 and was knighted in 2005 for services to the National Health Service.

Our Anti Racist Superhero workshops are a creative and interactive way to develop young peoples understanding of allyship and the introductory terminology around racism. Focusing on allyship to allow a deeper understanding and acceptance of all around us. LITERARY LEADERS Our Literary Leaders programme blends the traditional book club environment to allow young people to explore stories that explore black history and culture, alongside the work of BIPOC exploring stories of all kinds. Through exploring various kinds of literature from fiction, non fiction, blogs, articles and more our Literary Leaders learn the tools for the five types of writing expository, descriptive, narrative persuasive and creative to ensure that all stories are head and express what they feel needs to be shared with their local and wider community. ANTI RACISM WORKSHOPS(Organisations, Staff, Teachers) Our anti racism workshops for community organisations and schools all start with an initial call to talk with your organisation lead or designated EDI lead to help tailor the workshop to where your school is at on it’s journey in inclusivity and allyship. Our workshops look at; The Protected Characteristics, Unconscious Bias and practical tools and frameworks that allow you to look at where growth is needed within your organisation and where to develop in becoming transformational when it comes to race equality and inclusivity in your organisation.

c4c (conect4children) is a large collaborative European network that aims to facilitate the development of new drugs and other therapies for the entire paediatric population. It is a pioneering opportunity to build capacity for the implementation of multinational paediatric clinical trials whilst ensuring the needs of babies, children, young people and their families are met. c4c is committed to meeting the needs of paediatric patients thanks to a novel collaboration between the academic and the private sectors, which includes 35 academic and 10 industry partners and around 500 affiliated partners. c4c endeavours to provide a sustainable, integrated platform for the efficient and swift delivery of high quality clinical trials in children and young people across all conditions and phases of the drug development process. c4c strives to bring innovative processes to all stages of clinical development by generating a new model of organization and of the clinical development process. By emphasizing inclusiveness and collaboration across geographical, specialty, sectoral, cultural and societal backgrounds, it will set up a new infrastructure to support all evaluations of medicines in children. In this manner, it will become a benchmark in the currently fragmented European clinical research environment. Best practices and up-to-date expert advice will inform the c4c approaches and methods, which will subsequently be refined in the context of viability trials.
