Established in 2016, Role Group was conceptualised by David McHugh, Managing Director, as an outcome of his extensive experience and ability to identify the requirement for skilled, reliable and experienced operatives in the construction, civils and rail industries. The Role Group team are diligent in sourcing skilled and reliable trades and labour. Our current database consists of highly skilled operatives who have been assessed via our stringent vetting processes. The skills held by our operatives are reviewed on a regular basis with training offered to those who require renewals or upskilling via our in-house training company, Role Training Ltd. As a result of our synergetic recruitment and compliance strategies, we have the ability to provide clients with multi-skilled and flexible operatives at relatively short notice. As a team of experienced recruiters, Role Group have a vast number of years’ experience under their belts. Our team are familiar with the regulations and compliance requirements that are a part of every construction project in the UK. On previous projects, we have built strong relationships with a variety of skilled tradespeople and are seen as a valued and reliable supplier within the sector. Our team has collectively transformed our expertise and knowledge into a respectable and dependable recruitment firm. We have collaborated with our clients on some of the most high-profile projects in the UK. We have provided trades and labour, as well as logistical staff, to projects such as the Southall Waterside, Imperial College London, Highbury Corner Tunnels, Waterloo Platform Extension and the AMP 6 Framework. We are currently preparing our workforce to participate in the new AMP 7 Framework which will see Role Group provide trades and labour, logistical staff, confined spaces operatives and specialised utilities teams. AIMS FOR THE FUTURE: We are working to expand our workforce whilst maintaining our current quality of skilled trades and labour as we have the ability to upskill our operatives, in house, at no extra cost to our clients. Our new training centre will be supported by an innovative booking system, that will allow our operatives to easily book the training or renewals that they require. We are currently implementing a plan to expand our order book significantly by 2022 and aim to open a Role Group and Training satellite office at a new location within the UK.

We offer a number of one to one services for children and young people aged from 4-18 including: Art Therapy Counselling First Response Crisis Support Service – for children and young people aged 11+ who are experiencing domestic abuse at home or within their own relationships Flexible drop-in support Music Therapy Play and Youth Work Play Therapy Solution Focussed Practice We deliver this work from our two premises in North Shields, and in schools and other community settings throughout North Tyneside and Northumberland. Don’t worry if you are not sure which service would be of benefit to you/your child – we will discuss this with you when we speak to you. We offer lots of additional services for children and young people including group programmes, therapeutic groups and free family activities. We regularly hold different types of events, including an Introduction to Acorns Coffee Morning, which explains a bit more about who we are and what we, and where we can answer questions you may have. Welcome Wells Park School is a LA funded residential primary school which caters for pupils between 5 and 11 years old, who have an educational statement for social, emotional and mental health difficulties.The children board at Wells Park School from Monday to Friday during term time and are referred to the school by Essex County Council. The site is based in a semi-rural area of Essex, close to the London Borough of Redbridge. Educational The education team at Wells Park School strive to help children who have disengaged from school and learning, to develop strategies to manage their behaviour in a classroom. With small classes of up to ten pupils and a minimum of one teacher and one Higher Level Teaching Assistant in each classroom, the staff at Wells Park are able to introduce and maintain clear classroom boundaries for the pupils. Through providing ability, rather than age, appropriate learning tasks, children at Wells Park can experience success in learning and begin to engage and enjoy learning in school. Residential The pupils arrive at school on a Monday morning and leave on Friday, spending four evenings and nights at the school. Residentially, the children are grouped according to their social needs into four ‘houses’ of up to ten children and three care officers. The ‘houses’ have a family feel to them and mirror the interests and personalities of the children living there. As well as sharing breakfast and dinner with their ‘house’ the children are encouraged to develop their self-help skills and to take on responsibilities appropriate to their age and abilities. The children’s life experiences and social skills are greatly enhanced through the variety of activities provided throughout the week. The aim is to support families and carers to enjoy positive experiences and relationships both with their child and the school. Tokens There is a whole school Token Economy system which allows children to earn tokens every ten minutes in school and fifteen minutes residentially, for times when they are making positive choices with their behaviour, such as listening to the adults, being in the right space with their group and getting on with the set task. Our pupils are very motivated to earn tokens as they can exchange their token slips for evening activities throughout the week and saver trips at the end of each year.
