Face2Face Beauty Academy was founded in 2014 to serve the needs of students all over the UK, providing Accredited Beauty Courses in our luxury salon in Chesterfield. Since we opened our doors, our Beauty Academy has continued to empower our students to change their lives, giving them the skills and confidence to follow their dreams. Our innovative teaching methods help students really absorb the material, developing their abilities under the watchful eyes of our qualified, accredited tutors and allowing them to take control of their own learning. All of our courses are available on a one-to-one basis to ensure that you gain maximum benefit from your training. We also prefer that you provide your own model (who must be over 18) for your course as this allows you to be more relaxed in your learning. All of our courses are accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists or the CPD Accreditation Group and are Industry Recognised, allowing you to gain Public Liability Insurance to provide these services to your clients.

Hi , I’m Angela, a part time biomedical scientist as well as a yoga fanatic, Mum and owner of a mad Springer Spaniel! Yoga is for everyone and there is a style/styles that will be the ‘correct fit’ for you. I encourage an embodied approach as this is the true nature of yoga, which means to yoke or unite. More than just posture (asana) work, yoga really begins with the breath which is used to connect the body, mind and soul ‘complex’. I have been practising yoga for almost 20 years and in December 2018 completed my 200 hour training in Ashtanga Vinyasa with Meadowlark Yoga in Edinburgh. In 2019 I completed Kids yoga teacher training with Cosmic Kids Yoga - which was a lot of fun! In 2020 I undertook Chair yoga training (for seniors and those with special requirements) with Yuva Yoga online, and in later in 2020 I completed a 100 hour Yin and Restorative training with Meadowlark Yoga. This year I qualified as an advanced Reiki Master and I am using this in my yoga teaching to enhance the connection between body, mind and soul. I am now a fully qualified and accredited menopause yoga teacher. The aim of this style of yoga is to support women in their 40’s and 50’s on their menopause journey by use of specifically designed sequences (which help with various menopausal symptoms), providing information about diet, complimentary therapies, journaling and discussion in a woman’s circle setting. I have recently finished my meditation training with Dhugal Meachem as well as a my first 50 hours of The Principles of Chinese Medicine - and am so excited to bring this to the classes that I offer - it has created some big shifts for me so far!"

With over 25 years of experience in the fields of training and leadership development in both the retail and education sectors I know my stuff. My leadership career began when I worked for a bookshop chain in central London, working my way up to the role of store manager at branches in Baker Street, Earls Court and Holborn at the age of 20. This was followed by a period working as a training manager for Tesco at their first central London store on Oxford Street. My success in this role led to me being seconded to support the opening of Tesco’s flagship store in Kensington, where I helped to lead the recruitment and training of all new staff in preparation for the store’s launch. In 1999 I entered the education sector. I started as a volunteer in a pre-school, then secured a job as a Learning Support Assistant and eventually retrained as a class teacher. In my second year of teaching I took on a curriculum leadership role, which at the time was an unusual move for a new teacher. I’ve spent the last 19 years developing my career and I’m currently the headteacher of a primary school in south London. In 2014 I set up my own publishing company 9:10 Publishing. This was born out of an observation that there were very few books for young black people which were written from a black British perspective. Rather than rely on traditional publishing houses to take up my ideas, I looked into what was required to do it myself. As a result Letters to a Young Generation was born. The first book was aimed at boys and in 2016 I published another edition for girls. Visit the 9:10 Publishing website to find out more. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring Practice from Oxford Brookes University, where I am also a member of their Coaching and Mentoring Society. I’m a professional member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). I write regularly for TES and have delivered training as part of Teach First’s NPQ programme.

High Grange is a family-run business in the rolling hills of East Devon, run by Sara and husband Luke, a chef and wine merchant with over 20 years experience of cooking and teaching. Luke and Sara met on an internet date in 2010 and shared a lost Sunday afternoon in a dodgy bar called B @ 1 in Clapham Junction. Then we had three children, took in a sociopathic cat and a dog of supreme dim-wittedness. We all live in rural East Devon at High Grange, not far from the stunning Jurassic coast and Lyme Regis. We have a large outdoor cookery school with fire pits, pizza oven, Ofyr, and every type of Big Green Egg. We offer Full and Half Day Fire Schools where you can learn the full gamit of British outdoor cooking. We also have an indoor and outdoor woodland dining area for supper clubs and lunches, serviced by our chickens and vegetable patch. We can offer private dining options on request. Finally, our Shippen outbuilding offers wellness events and classes from yoga, pilates and reiki to sound baths and breathwork; and we also offer creative masterclasses covering everything from dried flower arranging to growing your own vegetables.
