My Name is Karen Hewitt and I am the face behind the name Inky Escapades I have always been an artist and crafter. I like nothing more than getting messy and creative and I love to introduce people to the amazing world that is Powertex! What is Powertex? I hear you ask Powertex is a universal medium which is both glue and paint combined and is a fabric hardener which enables you to create the most marvellous creations from fabric or natural fibres. Mixed with other products Powertex can create two types of clay and a myriad of textures which makes it a dream for mixed media projects. Powertex is Non Toxic, Water Based and Environmentally friendly. It has the capacity to introduce the child back into the adult with "Messy Play"! Powertex is a messy but very creative process. In this fast paced stressful world we live in it gives us the opportunity to just stop and breathe and engage ourselves in the creative process and forget all the other things on our minds for a few hours.
