Become a licensed Mind Tools For Kids Coach! Join our teamWelcome to Mind Tools for Kids! My name is Emily Harbrecht and I am the MTFK founder and Head Coach and Trainer. I am a mum, wife, daughter and friend with an absolute passion for helping people to realise their full potential. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with hundreds of people on their confidence and self-belief. Then after becoming a parent, I had a light bulb moment and realised that by working with children I would change the future of their adult life. I now pour my passion, energy and skill into working with parents and their extraordinary children – tomorrow’s trailblazers! I founded Mind Tools for Kids as I wanted to create a safe, accessible space for parents and their children to get the help, support and expertise they need. Every child deserves happiness, confidence and self-belief. The tools and strategies are simple, fun, easy to learn and more importantly they work! I love to see the transformation in the families I work with. I have won awards for my work, supported the world-renowned Paul McKenna and have made it my mission to continually learn, challenge and develop myself. I am a qualified NLP Trainer and Coach. I have trained with the best, completing many hundreds of hours’ study in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am a certified Empowering Learning Coach and have also completed training in Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Coaching, Psycho-Neuro Immunology and Mindfulness techniques. My greatest learnings and discoveries in my life have definitely come from being a parent. Nothing could prepare me for the rollercoaster of absolute love, joy, concern, guilt and worry that comes from being a mum. It can be exhausting! When I am not busy juggling coaching and life, I can be found knee deep in glitter, eating something yummy or watching Harry Potter with my daughter! It’s great to connect with you! Emily x

Short Supply

Salford,

Short Supply is a bridge between emerging artists and arts organisations, producing exhibitions, workshops and talks to create enriching environments that allow us to platform, connect and exchange knowledge alongside emerging artists in the north west and nationally. Being the change we want to see and all that. For the last two years, we’ve balanced Short Supply with full time paid work to pay the bills (like most artists, we see you Rishi). We’ve also relied on the generosity of artists, designers, organisers, space-givers, all-round-good-eggs to share their time with us. This is how the artist-led scene works most of the time, a good deed for a good deed, we love it but we think we all deserve a bit more than that. Short Supply has become a full time job, as we move towards getting our own space, commissioning artist work, spreading artist-led activities beyond major cities and partnering with more and more organisations who need our help to link up with you lot. We’re very excited about it all, but even our quick little mitts can’t keep up with our current email load. Over the next year, the goal for us is to become self-sufficient, to finance projects on our own terms while sharing our knowledge, resources and time with you. Our Patreon page is to help us get there, to allow us to take more time off the day jobs to focus on sustaining and growing the support that we’ve been giving so far. Notable projects include our graduate art prize MADE IT (exhibitions at HOME, Rogue Artists' Studios, Paradise Works), our Arts Council England funded tour around the north west Goin Places Doin Bits, collaborations with Islington Mill, SOUP, Manchester Pride, UKNA and our programming for organisations like Manchester Art Gallery, Institute of International Visual Arts, The Whitworth and Culture Warrington.
