Clare Reddaway has been creating unique and inspiring story events with her company A Word In Your Ear since 2012. A Word In Your Ear is a not-for-profit company founded to celebrate and champion new writing. The company aims to explore new and original ways of making stories available and accessible to the public, through performance, digital media and print. Based in Bath, A Word In Your Ear works with local writers and organisations to create high-quality, compelling story events. This includes Story Fridays, a regular, popular live lit event in Bath, and Story Saturdays, at Clifton Library, in Bristol. A Word In Your Ear has created a number of site specific story events such as Story Friday Goes Swimming, a promenade around a derelict Georgian lido, Foraged Fictions, set in and inspired by the landscape of Prior Park and the Bath Story Walk, a walk through the back streets and green spaces of Bath with fictions inspired by the stones beneath the walkers' feet.

The Successful for All Foundation is committed to enabling every child to read and succeed. It was founded by Dr. Robert Slavin and Dr. Nancy Madden, who were united in the 1970s by a shared passion to improve education, especially for children from disadvantaged circumstances. Working as researchers at Johns Hopkins University, they turned basic research into comprehensive programs designed to harness the power of kids, unlocking their potential through cooperative learning. The pair worked directly with educators to establish and disseminate their methods – receiving international recognition along the way – and turned Successful for All into a full-fledged not-for-profit. They are backed in their mission to erase illiteracy and change lives by a committed and experienced leadership team and Board of Directors. The Success for All Foundation continues its strong, productive bond with Johns Hopkins University and its mission to deliver the promise of literacy to all. The university’s Center for Research and Reform in Education works with SFA to develop, research and disseminate reading programs pre-K through grade 12.

The purpose of Fenside community centre is to provide the opportunity for local residents to participate in and enjoy a range of activities which are on offer. The Community Centre is a not-for-profit organisation and is also a registered charity. There are many positions available from cooking to gardening, and general maintenance work. We are a new non-profit app that launched in July 2020 with a mission to inform, involve and inspire people to help tackle some of the world's most pressing environmental and social problems. Our story now-u was founded in April of 2020, inspired by the acts of kindness and solidarity that we saw in our communities during the Covid-19 lockdown. We noticed that many people wanted to do something to help others during these difficult times but didn't know what they could do, while at the same time, charities were doing amazing work and in desperate need of support. We decided to create a platform to empower anyone to help tackle the causes they care about and support the charities working on the front lines of global issues. The global lockdown has offered us an opportunity to take stock of what's really important to us, and a chance to move forward together instead of falling ‘back to normal’.
