We extend a warm welcome to you and thank you for your interest in our thriving school. Stalder Academy offers a diverse range of both recreational and professional dance, gymnastics and performing arts classes for all ages and levels. We cater for both the beginner 'once a week' student, who wants to improve their confidence and make new friends, as well as the serious theatre student who's aim is to make dance and the performing arts their future career. Based in the centre of Sale across two different venues, we are home to 7 large indoor dance studios complete with mirrors, barres and Harlequin dance flooring, and one outdoor dance studio under cover. We also have male/female and adult changing rooms, lounge area, as well as an onsite shop for all your dance wear needs. All of our staff are fully qualified, DBS checked and have the skills and knowledge to teach all ages and abilities in a safe and professional environment. Our year is divided into six terms, and pupils are regularly entered for dance, drama and singing examinations as well as taking part in regional, national and international festivals, pantomimes, shows and events throughout the year. Covid-19 has certainly changed the way we operate. Although restrictions have now eased considerably we still have various systems in place to make everyone feel save and secure whilst at the studios.

Musical Futures is a not-for-profit organisation, which first began in the UK 18 years ago as a Paul Hamlyn Foundation Special Initiative and is dedicated to supporting teachers with teaching music in a way that helps them to engage and enthuse their students. Musical Futures supports primary and secondary schools to transform their music teaching. Musical Futures approaches involve making music learning relevant and engaging, imaginative and authentic for students, whatever their level of experience. We offer training and consultancy predominantly in the UK, but have links with institutions and schools in many other countries around the world. Our work is supported by our team of expert Champion Teachers have tried and tested the approaches in their classrooms. Musical Futures has developed into a national and international network of more than 13,000 teachers and practitioners adapting the approaches in the UK and overseas. 500,000+ young people benefit from Musical Futures every year. It’s the way we learn Music learning is most effective when young people are making music, and when their existing passion for music is reflected and built upon. The Musical Futures approach is a tried-and-tested yet innovative way of teaching music learning. It is based on a pedagogy that is driven by the musical culture of the participants. I qualified in 2001 as a physiotherapist and simultaneously qualified as a pilates teacher. It was my pilates career that introduced me to the world of women’s health and I worked with mums to be and new mums very early on in my career, blending my clinical knowledge as a physio with my pilates teaching. I couldn’t believe the lack of resources for women at the time and support within this period. This became even more apparent after the birth of my first born in 2006. I was a mum and physio on a mission to offer support to our female clients. I opened my first clinic (The Physiotherapy Centre) in 2006 and now manage busy clinics and classes full of mums to be and new mums in addition to other services. I also squeeze in being a Master Pilates Trainer AND have produced my own successful women’s health courses
