When Pro Sport Coaching was created, the objective was to increase the amount of pupil participation in a number of different sports throughout the Ribble Valley and surrounding areas. We now work with many schools throughout Lancashire and have built an outstanding reputation amongst our customers. We are proud of the brand we have built, the reputation we have earned and the work we have done to support many schools, children and parents over the years. Our dedicated team work hard each day to maintain the relationships we have with existing customers and to create opportunities with new ones. Pro Sport Coaching is always looking to introduce unique and innovative programmes to enhance our offerings to schools and their pupils. Maths on the Move, PE Curriculum Support (PECS), Balanceability and Mini Me Yoga are just some of the programmes we offer alongside long-term programmes such as PPA cover and extracurricular clubs. We are also proud to work in partnership with the Charity ‘Kids Run Free’ to deliver their 'Marathon Kids’ programme. When schools are out, our Active Camps provide parents with a reliable, fun and affordable solution to help keep children active throughout school holidays. In 2014 we created Diddy Dribblers, our bespoke programme that enhances key fundamentals in pre-school children such as balance and coordination, whilst covering the EYFS seven learning outcomes. Pro Sport Coaching is committed to delivering the best support possible, helping to keep children healthy, happy and active, making us the obvious choice for your school and children.

Teaching has always been Lian’s passion. At the age of 18 Lian started teaching dance which developed into establishing her own highly successful dance school Learning Curves Dance which she ran for 20 years. Lian has had numerous highlights during her teaching career from choreographing team performances at London theatres including Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and The Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham performance venues such as the NEC and the Symphony Hall. She has also travelled with her students overseas to Europe and Asia performing at Disneyland Paris and Beijing Theatre, China. Lian has trained over 500 students for team performances, prepared over 3000 students for 32 IDTA examination sessions and received Freestyle Scholarship Awards nominations for 5 professional candidates and 18 amateur students. She has judged at numerous ADFP Freestyle Dance Competitions, including the prestigious international Disco Kid Competition at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Lian was honoured to lecture for the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association), hosting amateur and professional workshops. She has produced, directed and choreographed over 16 theatre shows, raised over £10,000 for charity, formed the successful Performing Arts Project with sister school StarStruck Performing Arts Academy, taught GCSE dance at Arden School, cultivated successful relationships and taught classes in over 16 Primary and Secondary Schools in Solihull and Warwickshire and launched a second Dance School in Southam, Warwickshire. After further professional development and with a keen interest in anatomy and physiology, Lian qualified to train candidates to professional teacher level. To date she has trained 26 individuals to professional dance teacher status, 5 of whom have received IDTA Scholarship nominations and 1 student who has gained the 2020 John Dilworth Scholarship in the Freestyle category. Now Lian has added yoga to her long list of qualifications and is a Yoga Alliance Professional 250 hour qualified Teacher. Lian enjoys teaching Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Lian successfully teaches online and face to face classes. Yoga and dance complement each other beautifully and through her training Lian can bring elements of each discipline to enhance her teaching.

Nomad Sailing is owned and run by Jim Barden and his sister Lou. We have a practical bases in Gosport and shorebased classrooms in London and the South-East. Nomad was established in 2008, and after obtaining RYA Recognised Training Centre (RTC) status has provided shorebased RYA training courses in various locations in London and the South East. We aim to give sailors and prospective sailors the opportunity to learn and refine all the navigation skills needed on the water, a thorough grounding in the 'rules of the road', detailed knowledge of buoyage, lights and shapes and an understanding of safety at sea, all in the comfort of the classroom. Nomad 1 is Nomad Sailing's first boat. We have spent a great deal of time making her a fabulous training boat and felt she deserved a full page - so please take a look at Nomad 1. In 2018, Menai III joined the fleet, another Sun Fast 37 and fully equipped for training and longer passages. As well as providing scheduled courses throughout the year, Nomad Sailing also delivers bespoke theory training to small groups in homes, offices, clubs and workshops ! In 2019, we also took over the managment of one of the Solent's longest established yacht charter companies - Solent Yacht Charter. Along with a fleet of yachts for bareboat or skippered charter, Solent Yacht Charter can also provide bespoke skippered charters on larger motor cruisers and a Thames Barge!
