Ascension Sounds provides sound healing with gongs and other instruments. These sound baths can take place privately within your own space or you can follow us to keep up with our public events which take place regularly. The gong is a beautiful and powerful healing tool. Its frequencies have the power to guide us into an altered state of consciousness where we can experience deep relaxation. These frequencies enable our brain to create alpha, delta and theta brain waves, the same brain waves we experience when relaxed, in meditation or in a deep sleep. This can result in more mental clarity, physical energy and can even transport us to a dreamlike state, somewhere between sleep and our normal waking state where healing can take place on a cellular level.

It also produces podcasts and documentaries. The latest output is PECKHAM PODCAST [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJF_qWDwahYgc8PvR38_l8g], based in south London: 'Big Ideas, Local Traction'. CTVT also campaigns and through its founder, Chris Haydon, has given talks and papers at conferences, seminars and educational events. Local Media’s real power lies beyond the mainstream because it links media to life as and where it is lived. CTVT has no core funding and welcomes donations, volunteers and corporate enquiries regarding project sponsorship. Its initial principle project, “Southwark.TV” [www.southwark.tv] gave rise to CTVT’s definition of local media, dubbed The Southwark Template: WEB-EVENT-TV came directly from managing the borough-wide “Southwark.TV”. Website or WEB is the horizontal delivery mechanism; TV is something people may aspire to produce, which is fine, but can only be undertaken with a genuine team of committed participants and at least one person with actual broadcast experience and expertise; EVENT is the crucial element because it brings people together and sparks real relationships across community and often across age and ethnicity and culture too.

At Siobhan Davies Studios we believe in the power of dance for artistic and social change. We connect artists, neighbours and audiences through investigative, collaborative and creative activities at our studios and beyond. Artist and female-led since we were founded, Siobhan Davies Studios has been part of the contemporary dance landscape since the 1980s. Our studios are a place to play, question and experiment and we bring this spirit into all areas of our work. In the last five years, shaped by leadership changes, we have renewed focus on bringing marginalised voices to the fore to evolve a broader community of artists, participants, audiences and workers. We engage the public through classes, performances and co-created participatory activities prioritising engagement with local communities. From 2020, increased budgets in access support for artists and audiences aim to break the status quo of privilege surpassing inclusion. Current local partnerships include working with neighbouring Charlotte Sharman primary school, and charities Su Mano Amiga and Good Chance Theatre. Our award-winning public arts building is in the diverse and densely populated area of Elephant and Castle. My name is Nat, but I am known in the dance world as Fyra Velvette. I became a personal trainer after I decided that I wanted to help all women to level up, earn the confidence and love they deserve in their lives through the fusion of modern dancing and old-time burlesque. I wanted to be able to help my clients to feel amazing, have fun and enjoy their workouts. I am helping them increase their physical flexibility and strength, their personal confidence and be able to find peace with their physical and mental health. In September 2020 I began my online dance company, BAW Burlesque (aka BadAss Women Burlesque) dedicated to all women who want to explore their sensuality while dancing in a safe space. I am a burlesque dancer who has been training in the UK for the past 4 years, participated in multiple burlesque and drag shows in London. Because of the pandemic, I am no longer able to conduct my classes in person, but I am looking forward to having you in my online zoom burlesque classes. Empower Skills Services were created with the premise that every person regardless their background, age and race have the right to education that improves their well being and enhances prospects for desired employment. With this in mind, we have created a holistic approach that combines mentoring with educational and employability programmes which equip individuals with tools necessary to define their goals, find their desired career path and deal effectively with challenges in a professional and private life alike. All our bespoke training methods are based on a personal development model – GROW – established to build up confidence, resistance and strength that create positive outcomes for both individuals and for the community they belong to. GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Way forward) is a simple yet highly effective teaching framework that serves as a scaffold for students/clients to help them establish their goals and explore the steps they need to take towards the meaningful change that will move their life forward. project 4 youth empowerment

Project 4 Youth Empowerment (P4YE) is a Community Interest Company born by four friends who became tired of constantly speaking about issues impacting young people negatively, so they decided to do something about it. Concerned about the number of young people involved in, or on the verge of criminality, unemployed, or not in education or training, our team decided to try to change the narrative by dedicating tailored programmes for young people. We assist young people and families by offering a range of support such as group and 1:1 mentoring, online workshops, case study workshops, a weekly youth club, advocacy, and signposting to other professional services. Prevention, intervention, and diversional work is at the forefront of what we do and what we aim for with our young people. We have been trained in Conflict Resolution and mediation and work to resolve instances that can often lead to situations of serious youth violence by using our bespoke methods. Our team has many years of experience of working with young people in a variety of settings such as youth work, teaching, specialised gang work, outreach work and working with young people with special educational needs (SEN). We also have experience in leadership, project management and media and we use our skill sets when developing projects and programmes.
