At Horton Grange we wanted to support animals affected by the fires in Australia, and therefore decided to organise an Australian themed day. The School Councillors decided to help support the Koala Hospital, a not for profit organisation established in 1973 which helps to care for sick and injured Koalas. The entire school was involved, children made posters and they even made some delicious Koala biscuits which quickly sold out. All the funds raised will be used to adopt two Koalas.
