I've been working as a professional potter since 2007. I graduated that same year from De Montfort University with a First Class Honors Degree in Ceramics and Glass but my journey into the world of pottery started way back in 1999. Shortly after the birth of my son, I enrolled on a pottery evening class at the local Arts Centre in a town far, far away. And yes, for the first few weeks my coils were wobbly and flat too, but from the word go I was smitten. In fact I never stopped.
We are a family run business, and having children of our own we understand the joys, the challenges and the energy needed to keep little ones entertained!

Welcome to Louise Anne Designs! I am Louise and I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over ten years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award. One of my proudest moments was visiting Tokyo and seeing one of my pieces displayed in the Silver Accessories Exhibition. I would love to meet you on one of my courses so please book as soon as you can. Louise x
