HAMPTON COURT HOUSE IS AN AWARD-WINNING SCHOOL NESTLED IN BUSHY PARK NEAR EAST MOLESEY ON THE SOUTH WEST LONDON AND SURREY BORDERS. Hampton Court House [https://www.hamptoncourthouse.co.uk/] is refreshingly different.  Purposeful informality balanced with academic rigour delivers exceptional outcomes for children’s happiness, confidence, mental health and performance. Nestled in Bushy Park near East Molesey, Hampton Court House is an independent co-educational day school for ages 2 – 18, educating Early Years children in their Pre-Prep School & Nursery (The Little Courtiers), through to students in Prep and Senior into Sixth Form. The majority of their pupils elect to stay on to complete their full education at HCH, enjoying great success in their GCSEs and A Levels: in 2023, 40% of A Level grades were awarded A*/A, resulting in a 100% Oxbridge and Russell Group application success rate. Their GCSE results were equally strong, with 70% of all GCSE grades being awarded A*/A in 2023. Hampton Court House was ranked in the top 50 independent schools nationwide (The Telegraph, 2022) and in the top 10 co-educational independent schools in London (School Owl, 2023). Hampton Court House lays the foundations of a lifelong love of learning, and believes it is vitally important that children both enjoy and look forward to going to school. In keeping with their ethos, they believe that children need guided freedom to develop their independence and confidence to use their voice. Their non-uniform parkland campus environment, in which staff and pupils alike are addressed on a first-name basis, cultivates an energy where pupils grow in confidence and find themselves. The aim of the institution is to develop the physical, mental and moral qualities of the students in a balanced manner through up-to-date education and co-curricular activities and to develop each student as a good citizen capable of leading a larger career and leadership in various fields of national life. The motto of the institution is 'Education, Discipline, Character, Patriotism and Service'. History and Information : Dhaka Residential Model College was established in 1960 by Pakistani President Ayyub Khan, in an area of about 60 acre beside Mirpur Road near Sher-e-Bangla Nagor in Dhaka. In 1962, the administration of DRMC was assumed by the provincial government of then East Pakistan. In 1965, the government converted the institution into an autonomous body, and its administration was relegated to a board of governors with the Chief Secretary as its chairman. In 1967, the government again took control of the school. At that time, a new board of governors was constituted with the Education Secretary as its chairman. The initial purpose of establishing DRMC was to provide education for elite army officers and high ranking government officials in East Pakistan. The school, and later the college, were modeled after public schools in the United Kingdom (according to the British Public Schools Act 1868), particularly Eton College. The house system was designed to resemble Eton's. After the independence of Bangladesh, a board of governors was appointed with the Education Secretary as its chairman. Since its inception, the school has been funded through government grants and fees from students. The Board of Governors has been empowered to “frame rules as it deems necessary for the proper functioning of the school”. The school began with only one study session, known as the Morning shift which operates from 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. In March 1993, another session is known as the Day shift was added, according to the education expansion policy of the government, to cope with the growing number of students. The day shift session operates from 1:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Measures were taken to build a gymnasium, park, swimming pool, auditorium, mosque, administrative building, and residences for the principal, vice-principal, and school staff. The school opened in eleventh and twelfth grades in 1967. In 1978, another dormitory named Lalon Shah House was built for students in grades 11–12. In 2008, a four-storied house named Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah was built for students of the day shift.

London

We are a leading London maternity hospital and care for more than 8,000 pregnant women and birthing people and their babies each year. We provide all aspects of obstetric and midwifery care, from before conception and before birth (antenatal) to birth and after delivery (postnatal). The majority of pregnant women and people will be cared for by our expert team of midwives who are experienced in supporting those with uncomplicated pregnancies and births. When your circumstances are more complex, our specialist obstetric doctors and allied health professionals will work alongside your midwife to give you the care and support your need to have a safe and satisfying birth. You will have your own ideas about how you would like your baby to be born – whether at home or in hospital – and we do our best to help you to achieve this. We have obstetric-led birthing rooms, midwife-led birth suites with birth pools, obstetric theatres for both planned and emergency caesareans, and a homebirth service. Are you pregnant and want to have your baby with King's? You do not have to see your GP before contacting us. Please complete the King's College Hospital antenatal self-referral form to refer yourself and send to kch-tr.antenatalreferral@nhs.net. We will then email you with a reference number to confirm we have received your referral. Your first appointments with the midwife and scanning team will be sent to you either via post or email. Please note we may contact and share information with other health professionals as required. During your pregnancy, you will have regular appointments to make sure you and your baby are well. You will be offered routine health checks such as blood tests and other screenings, you can read more about the different scans, tests and antenatal care you can expect on the NHS website. Your screening choices are explained in this screening information leaflet, which is produced by Public Health England and available in several languages. We also provide care if screening finds you have an infectious disease, including Hepatitis B, HIV or syphilis. Badger Notes You can access your pregnancy notes and leaflets via the Badger Notes website or app. Your account will be activated after your first midwife appointment.
