At PlayAct Drama School we have developed a Drama and Theatre experience where children and young people can socially interact, connect and enjoy learning to act, write, make or find props, engage with others and simply pretend.

I founded The Stem in 2019 after working in the City for three and a half years. After suffering from anxiety, I travelled extensively to remote places to connect with nature, and this became the tonic for my mental health challenges. I decided that I wanted to create a business that would help others to connect to nature, through plants and gardening. At The Stem, we are driven by a desire to share plant happiness and build an industry-leading business for people and the planet.

Over 2.2 million people used foodbanks last year. With more people expected to use food banks this autumn and winter despite government measures to freeze the rise on energy bills, we are launching a new solution. We will be offering informal and relaxed money skills workshops in small groups to people already accessing food banks or visiting them for the first time.
