This swedish massage course is intended for anyone wanting to undertake a basic body massage course either to pursue massage therapy as a career or to do in their spare time. It will develop your understanding of the role, skills and qualities of a successful massage therapist, and increase your knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. By the end of the course you will understand the physical and mental health benefits of massage therapy and be familiar with the techniques used in a traditional Swedish massage.

This pregnancy course combines theory and practical elements and will develop your understanding of the role, skills and qualities of a successful pregnancy massage therapist. You will gain knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body during pregnancy and consequently come to understand the physical and mental health benefits of massage therapy during this time.

This advanced colon massage course will develop knowledge of the digestive conditions, and relevant anatomy and physiology, that may lead clients to book a treatment, the physical and mental health benefits of massage therapy for the client with a bowel condition, and practical techniques that can be used. It also covers self help measures that can be offered to clients, guidance on clients with stomas, and examines how postural alignment may be affecting the client’s digestive health.

This scalp and facial massage course is intended for massage or beauty therapists who want to offer scalp and/or facial massage for further relaxation. The course will develop the therapists understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the head and face, and the benefits of scalp and facial massages. In addition to understanding the main issues for which scalp/facial massage may be sought, the course will cover pressure points and acupressure techniques used on the scalp and face.

This course for massage in clients with cancer is suitable for anyone who has undertaken level 3 body massage course training and would like to start treating clients with/in remission from cancer. Students will not only develop knowledge of cancer physiology and understanding of the role, skills and qualities of a successful massage therapist in relation to the oncology client, but will also be able to recognise the physical and mental health benefits of massage therapy. The course also examines treatment options and how they may influence the massage that is given.

Our 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work course gives the participant the knowledge, skills and confidence to deal with with first aid incidents in the work environment. Employers can book this course for their employees in the knowledge that they are fulfilling their duty to provide quality first aid training to their employees.
