Our History A story of growth and overcoming challenges to succeed. Expertise
was incorporated in 1999 by Doug Soares, an HR guy with a keen interest in
optimizing personal performance and organizational effectiveness. By the time
the global recession hit in 2009, the company had grown to 250+ clients and 60
employees. The company shrank in 2010 but has been growing ever since. A support
office in Manila was opened in 2011 and the Cayman Islands office opened in
2020. Our Clients Our reputation. That's why we keep winning new clients. By
helping our first few clients succeed in 1999, word got around. Before long we
had dozens, then hundreds, of local and international companies trusting us to
serve them. Two-thirds of our clients are insurance and financial services
companies with offices in Bermuda and/or Cayman. The remainder are local and
global companies from a wide cross section of industries.
