To see a child learn to swim, and to know the lifeskill we have taught could potentially save their life is gold dust to us. All the other benefits pale into insignificance by contrast and our mission is to help as many local children learn this lifeskill properly, comprehensively and safely. We also hope one day they may even end up a teacher with us, spreading the knowledge.

Sandwell Consortium is a third sector consortia of community-led organisations for Sandwell. Our aims are to address unmet need, tackle disadvantage, and advance equity and social inclusion in Sandwell. We achieve this through high quality services that: * reach disadvantaged and marginalised communities, * tackle economic and health inequalities, * alleviate poverty and improve wellbeing, * empower residents and build community resilience * We will reinvest any financial surpluses for community benefit.

Sarah Brown Psychology is a Clinical Psychology Service which specialises in the provision of psychological consultation, training, retreats and group/community practices with a systemic and community psychology lens.  Dr Sarah Brown is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. She had worked in the NHS since 2006 and has worked in independent practice alongside this since 2012. She spent the beginning of her career working in Learning Disability services with children and adults, as well as Autism assessment services. She has worked in community based child and family services since 2017 and with foster carers/ kinship carers and families and staff within social care services since 2020. Sarah is an Associate of the charity Platfform. She contributes to training around trauma informed services and supporting services to rethink their approach to mental health.  Sarah continues to be a member of SHIELDS - Systemic Hope in Engaging Learning Disability Systems. She has been working with colleagues to develop the ‘human inclusion project’, which is about promoting inclusion of all and moving beyond ableism.

THE CONDITIONS PANS and PANDAS are a set of conditions which result in an inflammation of the brain causing a variety of neuro-psychiatric conditions such as OCD, tics and eating restrictions. These conditions are often misdiagnosed or blamed simply on bad behaviour and poor parenting. Determined to make a difference to the way these conditions are understood by the medical profession and the general public, the charity was registered in May 2018.panspandasuk.org WHAT WE DO The charity was originally created in order to raise awareness and understanding of these conditions amongst the general public and medical professionals. PANS PANDAS UK are working closely with a Network of Doctors in order to ensure better diagnosis and early effective treatment for those suffering with these little understood but life changing conditions. choose nature cic

We are a community interest company called Choose Nature CIC with our site being located adjacent to the Wheal Martyn Clay Works, Carthew, mid-Cornwall.  We aim to broaden the accessibility and inclusivity of outdoor learning opportunities and therapeutic support in nature.   Mission statement: ‘Choose Nature CIC works to increase the wellbeing of individuals, communities and the environment by inspiring life long learning and care. Our calm enriching outdoor spaces are emotionally grounding and cultivate a strong relationship with nature’.  We are continuing to restore and develop the site. It has so many exciting areas including gardening spaces, wooded areas, wildlife ponds, orchard, classroom, and poly tunnels. We currently have our weekly ‘Mamas in Nature’ group (supporting new mums and babies as transition into parenthood), ‘Making Tracks’ group (supporting young people with additional needs) and different volunteering opportunities as we establish a volunteer programme. We also host a variety of family events and workshops throughout the year. More recently we have been welcoming St Austell College students onto site to gain work experience on their construction course, as well as striving to become a Makaton Friendly Organisation. leeds school of ministry administrator

Leeds School of Ministry is part of YTEP, the Yorkshire Theological Education Partnership and provides theological training for lay ministers across the Diocese of Leeds. Teaching takes place in two area hubs: Bingley and Mirfield. Modules are taught using common awards modules from Durham. Both hubs follow a common programme on alternate years to better support students who need to suspend studies for a term for pastoral reasons.
