Marine biologist Dr Juliette Jackson founded award the Prince of Wales award winning Seadream Education CIC to inspire others and instil passion, awe, knowledge, understanding and respect for the world. A non profit CIC, we strive to lead by example, inspire and empower, raise aspirations and improve individual and community wellbeing, Seadream offers a fantastic variety of tailored workshops and activities – some fully funded and we facilitate public engagement and effective collaboration. We strive to source funding which enables us to deliver accessible STEM outreach programmes, workshops and activities to the wider community, across cities and rural locations, adapting programmes to suit all needs. Understanding and respect for the world around us underpins Seadream Education and drives positive outcomes within and throughout the community. Although we are a non-profit organisation we have a desire to grow, to generate a steady income stream, to build the security needed to employ more staff, to have better resources and to have a greater impact. We create value as a team of professional scientists striving to showcase our experiences in unique and modern ways. We have advanced knowledge and diverse experiences and we are committed to develop new and better ways to share our experiences as well as continuing to advance our own skillsets. We are passionate about STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths and we offer a fantastic variety of tailored workshops and activities for schools, clubs, organisations, businesses and events. the national energy foundation

The National Energy Foundation was established in 1988 by Milton Keynes Development Corporation to continue its work on energy efficient housing through its Energy World project. Energy World was a demonstration of 51 low-energy houses designed to be at least 30% more efficient than the Building Regulations then in force. The Foundation was set up to increase public awareness on the safe and efficient use of energy through demonstration and research. From 1993 to 2001 NEF worked closely with the Energy Saving Trust in setting up the UK’s network of Energy Efficiency Advice Centres (EEACs) and managed the network for the first five years. NEF went on to develop the National Home Energy Rating Scheme, which was run by a trading subsidiary (National Energy Services) from 1994 and in 1998 NEF established the Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme for businesses which was transferred to the Carbon Trust in 2005 and later became the Carbon Trust Standard which continues to run to this day. Renewable energy was relatively unknown at this time and NEF became a thought leader as awareness began to grow and was at the forefront of educating the public on the latest developments. Through outreach events and working with schools, the team was introducing local people to the benefit’s renewable energy. When USEA (United Sustainable Energy Agency) merged with NEF in 2013, NEF started doing a lot of work on advice on domestic energy efficiency and fuel poverty which grew into the projects still running today.

Our Vision To be the leading participatory arts provider in North Ayrshire, driving positive change and benefits for individuals and communities. Our Mission To provide people of all ages with high quality participatory creative activities that help them thrive at home, at school and at play.

Aviv Dance Studios was founded in 2002 by Nikki Avron. In August 2003, with the support of the Prince’s Trust, the Aviv Dance Studio in Watford was built and became the home of Aviv. In 2013, Nikki stood down from her role, and Fay Liberty took over as Principal/ Director. Since the founding of Aviv in 2002, adults and children in Watford and Harpenden have benefited from a large range of dance classes from beginner to professional levels with a particular emphasis on commercial or ‘MTV’ styles such as Street Dance and Hip-Hop. Aviv boasts a team of highly qualified teachers each with performing experience in their individual specialist fields. For teacher’s biographies, please go to the Faculty page. A variety of classes are available from beginner to advanced levels in Commercial/Street Dance, Freestyle/Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and Tap. Please see our Timetables page. After his degree, he worked as a teacher of Science in Blackheath Bluecoat C of E School, also became deputy of the department. Dr Ajeleti undertook his teacher training at Canterbury Christ Church University, obtaining Qualified Teacher Status. He received the grade ‘outstanding’ for his role as a teacher, and this was recognised by Ofsted. During this time, he was still determined to pursue a career in medicine, graduating from the Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. Dr Ajeleti graduated at the top of his class and is currently training in the London Deanery. Raised in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Dr Ajeleti has made it his duty to encourage young people to get involved in medicine and other healthcare professions. As the co-founder of Modern Day medics, he aims to help prospective medical students from BME backgrounds to reach their full potential. Facebook-f Twitter Instagram DR OLA OLABINTAN MBBS, MRCP CO-FOUNDER OF MODERN DAY MEDICS Dr Ola Olabintan graduated with distinction from King’s College London in 2015. He was also a recipient of the Beany scholarship for the best final year OSCE result. In 2012, he was recognised as a one of the top 100 future leaders and at University, he sat on a number of society committees as well as co-founding Inspire the youth CIC. After medical school, he undertook his foundation training in Trent deanery and core medical training in South London. During his junior doctor training, he served as a regional representative for foundation doctors and he was a clinical guidance associate at one of his local hospitals. He is currently a gastroenterology trainee in Kent, Surrey & Sussex deanery where he sits on the board for the culture and leadership change team. He is extremely passionate about seeing young people achieve their potential and dreams and with Modern Day Medics, he plans to achieve this.
