What gifted children need most, very often, is other gifted children. We have been providing residentials, day events and more recently online classes where gifted children can find their tribe for over 40 years. Since the surge in online activity in the pandemic, our reach has broadened to include mixed-ability participants from the home educated community, but our culture  of learning for learning's sake without the weight of judgment, assessment or the drag of trying to work alongside students who are not as curious about new ideas as you are, all remain the same. As well as our classes, we can offer advice to parents in negotiating with schools, and can sometimes fit in or arrange 1:1 sessions to introduce students to more advanced materials and ideas that can keep them challenged. dukus Learning Environment Edukus prefer teach in small numbers in a purpose built off-grid classroom set in the garden environment of a family home. While a cheaper alternative to hiring large classroom accommodation (which does not have to be passed on), this choice was part of a conscious goal to limit class sizes to a very small and comfortable number in which all students, children and adult, could feel that they could get to know and interact with the other students and the teacher. In our setup, we can switch from a more conventional 5-seat desk layout in various formats, all the way down to laid-back, bean-bag slouch-discussions. We ultimately called this Boutique Education. We have space for up to six students at a maximum, but prefer 4 or 5 as a norm. This allows us to deliver core academic tuition, but also room to undertake meaningful practical learning where everyone can be involved with a purposeful goal. Larger Courses If you require a larger course, ranging from 5 to 30, Edukus also teach at facilities provided by Midkent College. The campus provides a number of facilities above classroom environments, including cafes and ample parking.

Essex Football Coaching is a sports coaching company working with nurseries, schools and local football clubs. We also run our own pre-school and evening futsal classes throughout the week. Established in 2009, EFC is now well respected by many schools, parents, coaches and players in the local area, due to our success. Owned by an experienced PE teacher and a Director of Youth Football, from one of Essex biggest clubs, our company is driven and extremely experienced in many different areas. Our growing reputation is maintained by football camps that are held during the school holidays. We believe that player input and parental feedback is vital, to ensure that every child has an enjoyable and beneficial time with us. EFC’s Mini Kickers programme was introduced in September 2015. The programme is based on delivering football to children aged 18 months – 5 years old. With coaches experienced in dealing with this age group, we are in a fantastic position to offer impressive coach to player ratios as well as a local football club into which players can progress. After our inception as a specialist football coaching company, we now offer coaching in other sports due the demand from local schools. All of our coaches are at least - FA qualified, CRB checked and first-aid trained.
