Friends of Snitterfield School (FOSS) FOSS Friends of Snitterfield School (FOSS) is a small group of volunteers that play an active role in raising funds for the school & for all our children’s growth and learning. We actively seek to arrange events that are social, fun and raise much needed funds for school resources. Historically, we have helped to fund school trips, IT equipment, stationary & books. Moving forwards we are looking to fund a few bigger projects including: The restoration of the pond area – a great resource that is currently under utilised. More Forest School dates for all year groups As a small group we are always seeking new members/volunteers. Being part of FOSS is a great way of meeting other parents, and school staff. The more people involved the less time commitment for all – everyone is welcome!

Association for Educational Projects Limited (AEPL) aims to promote education of young women.Its educational activities focus on all aspects of human development. AEPL’s educational philosophy fosters the development of one’s character as a foundation for the acquisition of other virtues and skills. Today there are activities sponsored by AEPL in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart. Projects of AEPL are open to all people, regardless of their background. AEPL was founded in 1976 by a group of Sydney residents from a wide variety of backgrounds. Their aim was to establish an association that would sponsor and promote educational projects to meet the needs of Australian society. AEPL is not-for- profit company and a registered charity. Delta One Canines was established in 1999 when I retired from the Police Force.  Twenty one  of those thirty years was spent as a dog handler and dog training instructor. The aims of the business are the same now as they were then, to provide dog training and behaviourial advice to pet owners that is effective, acceptable and affordable. The business has grown over the last twenty five years and now includes two associate instructors.  Potential clients of the business can be assured by our membership of bona fide professional organisations. I have been a full member of British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers since the mid 1980s and an Honorary Life Member  of Canine Behaviour & Training Society (Formerly U.K. Registry of Canine Behaviourists) since 2010. My associate trainers are also  members of B.I.P.D.T.. On-going staff training has included courses in Canine First Aid and dog law. We deliver Responsible Dog Ownership Courses which were developed by ourselves at the request of and in association with  West Midlands Police. We pride ourselves on delivering a personal service to all clients. All our training lessons are delivered on a “One to one”  basis so that owner and dog can progress at their own pace without distractions.  Behaviourial consultations are delivered at the owners home. The consultations deal with matters such as aggression, separation anxiety, dominance and other subjects that are beyond the scope of a regular training lesson. Owners are given a behaviour modification program to address the cause of the dogs unwanted behaviour.

At Bright Pi we are passionate about supporting all those involved with the teaching and learning of mathematics; raising standards and helping all to achieve their best in the early years and primary phases. Based in the Midlands, we form a highly regarded team with wide ranging experience and up to date skills providing support to schools across the UK. The team has taught across the early years and primary age range and all have experience in local authority school improvement working with teachers, leaders and other stakeholders. Having worked as regional co-ordinators for the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM), Bright Pi maintains a close working relationship with the NCETM delivering their ever-evolving national ‘Professional Development Lead’ programme. We are proud to work alongside other partner organisations including the National Maths Hub Network. We play a key role on the strategic board for our local hub and lead on the Mastery Readiness programme for the Origin Maths Hub. This supports those schools starting their journey in Teaching for Mastery, as well as those developing their practice. My name is Jen Barnes and I have been teaching Swimming since 2014. I love teaching children to swim and I leave every lesson with a smile because it really does bring me joy. Before having my own family, I worked in the Early Years sector which has given me a broader understanding of Child Development which I have applied to all the classes I teach. I believe that being in the water is one of the best ways to help your child grow in confidence. It is a sensory experience that helps develop co-ordination, brain connections, balance and is one of life's most necessary safety skills. Some experiences I have had in my life that were only possible because I can swim are: I have played Water Polo for Western Australia I am confident in my body because it is strong - and you have no other choice when you work in a swimming costume! I have been White Water Rafting in Indonesia I have surfed in Hawaii I have been swimming with Whalesharks on the Ningaloo Reef - one of the best experiences of my life! I truly love being in the water and I hope to share that passion with you in the pool!
