Before I discovered the life-changing magic of mindset work, I had a busy career in finance. But I felt bored and unfulfilled. It was like my life had very little meaning. Every week I would have meeting after meeting with traders and portfolio managers, and it was soul-sucking – just mind-numbingly bland. I felt dead inside. It made me question whether this is all life would ever be. Then I started exploring mindset work, and I realised this was my true calling. I quit my job in finance and started coaching women who felt just like me and who were ready to make changes to their lives. I’ve lived all over the world – half-French and half-Belgian, I was born in Tokyo, and spent my childhood in Dusseldorf, Johannesburg, Vienna and Hamburg. I studied in Boston and then moved to London. Now I live in Brighton, on the south coast of England, with my family. Everywhere I’ve lived, I’ve met women with the same problems. My name is Anthony, I'm currently working remotely and I have been passionate about travel all my life. New places and new people have inspired me throughout this journey. I was fortunate to be engaged in a lot of projects that are creative. Everything went well, but then 2020 began! Soon after the pandemic started, I suddenly discovered that it became almost impossible to travel. I was working in one particular place, surrounded by walls, and day to day nothing changed. My motivation was disappearing… Spring was gone, then summer... Borders gradually opened, but few people risked travelling. For me, everything changed in the autumn when I met Lena.. Lena was in the same situation, she wanted to travel, but she didn't want to go alone. Together we found a way out. We have created a first camp by gathering like-minded people such as entrepreneurs, startupers, IT-specialists, and together we went to Turkey, rented a villa and spent two weeks there. Even though we arrived as strangers we quickly developed a bond. We spontaneously organized workshops, brainstorming sessions, and most importantly the exchange of experiences and friendships. The community started to appear. more than 30 countries Lena Bulgakova Traveler and co-founder of the project #remotecamp Now, after a series of successful camps in different countries, we know it works!. People from different fields of activity, united by the desire to know themselves better, found their work & life balance here. They found themselves happier and more productive, and continued to inspire each other. We discovered how people found a new lifestyle, explored wonderful places alongside their work.

Here are the most interesting Polish customs which is good to be familiar with: Curious people Polish people are very curious towards international visitors. They are very much interested in different cultures, however if you only look back – nothing has happened 😉 Shaking hands It is very Polish to shake hands when you introduce yourself. YOu do it always with your right, bare hand. It is considered impolite if you do it in a glove. Keeping an eye contact When speaking to someone, keep an eye contact for most of the time. It is not necessary to keep it all the time. If you do not, you might not get what you want. Personal questions It is quite common in Poland to be asked questions which are often considered as private. As Poles are curious people, they like to get into little details, so do not forget to be assertive. Meal schedule Food in Poland is often fat and served with meat. Soups are very popular and offer a great variety of types & tastes. Typically in Poland people eat 3 times a day. Bruderszaft It is a fraternal toast, after which Polish people start to address each other with first names, and declining it can be seen as an insult. Relationships become more cordial after this little ceremony. Bruderszaft is two people raising toasts simultaneously with arms interlocked and drinking. The last part is an exchange of kisses and a handshake.

We are a volunteer led work with very few staff, but this does not mean we are a small organization. We can see as many as 300 people a day, looking for our assistance. We remain open every day Our impact remains high We can do this for a fraction of the cost of other day centres. We do this without any statutory funding. First, we help people by meeting immediate needs: food, shelter, clothing, and medical care.
