The Wise Owls Care Club was established in 1997 and provides a Breakfast Club and After School Club for pupils of Our Lady & St Werburgh's School, as well as a Holiday Club for children living in the local community. The club is Ofsted registered, is owned and run by Mr & Mrs Mogg. The club offers a safe, caring, stimulating and fun environment and provides a wealth of indoor and outdoor activities to suit all ages and interests. The emphasis is on fun and learning through play to develop social skills and boost confidence. A programme of activities is developed for each session. All children are different and each and every one is valued by the Wise Owls Team, who will endeavour to meet their individual needs. In turn, children are encouraged to be polite and show care, consideration and respect for the staff and each other. The club operates from within the Parish Hall next to the church at Our Lady & St Werburgh's School.

I completed my 200hr Vinyasa flow teacher training at Frog Lotus International at the beautiful Suryalila in Southern Spain. My story starts with the toughest year I had ever experienced: A miscarriage at 11 weeks having had menstrual issues for 20 years & subsequently suffered with mental health problems. I was signed off from work & for that year I focused on me. Exploring a variety of alternative therapies, waiting and wanting to be fixed. I also put my mind to projects around the home and garden, which became a sanctuary for me and our cat Moo, and we became therapy for each other. But all of a sudden, it was as if the universe was listening to me & heard my plea, I’d found hope and faith that there was a reason to continue; dōTERRA came late October, and Reiki and Crystal Therapy came mid November. These both gave me the holistic medicine tools which I'll carry with me for life and have since evolved into a low-waste, low-tox, and rather empowering lifestyle. So I welcome you to my site, to my life & to how these methods, products and habits have genuinely re-routed my journey. Lighthouse Literacy Academy is a Christian school where children will experience God’s love in our morning Bible time and weekly chapel as well as throughout the week as we learn to love God and each other just as God commands us.
